Less than 24 hours after The Late Show ended, Colbert resurfaced on Michigan public access program, where he reported the local news and was joined by surprise guests including Jack White, Steve Buscemi, Jeff Daniels, and Eminem.
"It's been an excruciating 23 hours without being on TV. So I am grateful to be able to be here on Monroe Community Media before they also get acquired by Paramount."

James Gunn says they’re expecting Matt Reeves’ draft of The Batman Part 2 this month, in June.
“People should get off Matt's nuts because it's like, let the guy write the screenplay in the amount of time he needs to write it. That's just the way it is. He doesn't owe you something because you like his movie. I mean, you like his movie because of Matt. So let Matt do things the way he does.”
