Learned this at #Nudgestock2021 today! Importance of creating a safe space when implementing interventions to create behavioural change.

The safe space addresses the fao between the designers and target audience which may not have the same intellectual exposure.

The case study mentioned was introducing sustainable fishing methods to fishermen in Indonesia.

Instead of using scientific environmental implications to convince them, a better approach is instilling a sense of pride in the fishermen to conduct sustainable fishing.

As part of my preparation for joining a new organisation, I completed a course from @AcumenAcademy called #AdaptiveLeadership.

And what a relevant 1-month short course to redefine how we approach a "gap" in an organisation!

We deep-dived into a very common organisational gap case study, growing frustration from the team due to different leadership styles among the management team. We explored ways to improve starting from the communication style to certain strategic decisions from the leaders.
