I am horrified by the images of clashes between ICE and protestors and observers — including my colleague @SenatorAndyKim — outside of a New Jersey ICE facility where some detainees are currently on a hunger strike.

The public has a right to protest peacefully, including outside ICE detention centers, and we must continue to demand an end to deplorable conditions for those in ICE custody.
