@cottagescom We're trying to contact you for a refund. We're receiving no response from your "contact us" form, from your email address, and we were cut off after a 90 minute on hold telephone call (which cost us over $50 from the US). What can we do to make contact?
An anecdotal look at the mental health benefits of running. The preponderance of evidence shows that exercise has a wide range of physical health benefits, and I think we will see a similar range of mental benefits as research catches up. https://t.co/A92imzcI7i
I've been testing GPS (and footpod) accuracy on mountain bike trails, which are much tougher for these devices. You can see the preliminary results at https://t.co/z4WU4CEtvO
I updated my reviews of running packs to include two new Ultimate Direction packs. I really like both of them, depending on how much gear you want to carry. I've been using the UD Hardrocker for quite a few all-day, self-supported runs, and love it. https://t.co/Ok65PKMg6f
My review of the ON Cloud X, which will be my last review of an ON Cloud shoe. I'm annoyed with myself for trying them given how much I disliked their previous shoes. https://t.co/dZzhQnw6Tv
Huh - HRV4training now supports Scosches Rhythm24 for R-R measurement. I like HRV4training and give them more credence than other reviews that don't tend to apply as much critical thinking. The HRV4training report on their testing at https://t.co/nwomrWuLiw
I really wish that optical heart rate monitors worked well enough to be viable. I'm having more and more issues with the chest strap damaging my skin, but I'd rather have no HR data than bad HR data. Do you think they'll ever crack this problem?
I love REI's hiking project. It's a great way of finding and downloading trails to run. I've been using it to download the segments of the Coast To Coast trail I'm intending to hike in England in a couple of weeks. https://t.co/0sW7M17bD3
I've updated my review of hydration systems to include pressurized hydration bladders, plus I've added a note on adding some closed cell foam to the UD Hardrocker pack. https://t.co/5knkwZuYPv
I've been pleasantly surprised by the Altra Solstice. It's a remarkably comfortable shoe, one that brings the shortcomings of other shoes into sharp focus. I've enjoyed the first 200 miles, and so far the wear has been reasonable. https://t.co/TgCnYzhABZ
@MasoudKalali@strydrunning@Strava I've not seen anything about the Stava app (iOS or AW) supporting a footpod or Stryd. How are you getting this to work?
@MasoudKalali@strydrunning@Strava Yes, I need to add the Apple Watch to the list. I've been waiting for @strydrunning to fix the bug where the AW app burns through battery with GPS disabled.
I added a another foot to my guide to what shape running shoes you should use. This foot shape is sadly all to common in the western world, with bunions from shoes that bind the feet.
It's taken me a couple of years to get around to writing up my review of Skulpt, but that's given me lots of time to evaluate it. Overall, I've come to appreciate the Skulpt, though I don't always like what it tells me (curse those cinnamon buns!) https://t.co/doC6Ab47yC
