Every time someone opens their mouth to speak about the slaughter of Christian communities, the burning of villages, the mass burials, and the terror that ordinary Nigerians are living through, people like Bashi rise immediately, not to defend the victims, but to protect the narrative that shields the killers.

They are uncomfortable with the truth because the truth destroys the mask they wear.
They cannot accept the truth because the truth exposes their mission.
