@Aqua_Vesuvius@zaelefty You are welcome to do so, but be aware that we have this discussion because people have tried desperately to deconstruct the sex binary.
Just watched this wild Matt Walsh interview and I’m still cracking up This Republican councilman from Indiana, Ryan Webb, decides to “come out” as a trans lesbian woman of color. Same dude, no changes to his appearance, keeps the male pronouns, but suddenly he’s the first “LGBTQ+ woman of color” on the Delaware County Council. He sits down with Matt Walsh, deadpan the whole time, explaining how brave it was to come out of three closets at once. The trans community? They lost their minds and rejected him immediately. Turns out identity politics has gatekeepers after all. The hypocrisy is next-level. For years we’ve been told gender and race are just “social constructs” and anyone can identify as anything. But the second a straight white Republican guy tries to play the game by their own rules? Nope. Not valid. You don’t get to join the club. This whole thing perfectly exposes how ridiculous the whole ideology has become. It’s not about genuine dysphoria or lived experience anymore it’s a power game with ever-shifting rules that only apply when it’s convenient. Ryan didn’t change a thing physically. He just said the magic words and watched the left eat itself. Absolute satire gold. If this doesn’t wake people up to how insane things have gotten, I don’t know what will. Watch the full thing you won’t regret it. Link in the reel or search Matt Walsh Ryan Webb. What do you think is this the peak of clown world or are we still climbing? #MattWalsh #IdentityPolitics

ONU Mujeres no ha dicho ni una palabra.
@Microinteracti1 Important confounder: sick people stay more indoors than fit, healthy people.
But still: use hats with shades, shirts with long sleeves and stay in the shade at noon, and minimize sunscreen use.
The FDA experiment
In 2019, the FDA gave 48 healthy adults commercial sunscreen and asked them to apply it four times a day to 75% of their bodies for four days.
The agency then drew their blood at intervals for three weeks.
Every chemical ingredient tested showed up in the bloodstream. Every one exceeded the FDA's safety threshold for additional testing.
The findings were published in JAMA in 2020. The world was distracted by other things.
Today's Case File is about what those findings mean, and why the products are unchanged six years later:

In the UK, 11 trans people have been murdered since 2000.
In the same country, from 2009 - 2021, 16 women were murdered by serving or retired police officers. Not killed by officers in the line of duty — flat out murdered.
In 2022 alone, 11 British women were killed by male strangers. 12 were murdered by their own sons; 150 British women have been murdered by their own sons since 2012.
On average, a woman is murdered by a man in the UK once every 72 hours.
Where is the Day of Remembrance for the women murdered by their own sons? By their husbands, their fathers, their brothers? By serving police officers?
In the last 25 years, there have been nearly twice as many trans-identifying murderers than there have been murder victims - 20 murderers, versus 11 victims — and yet we’re told to believe that this is a genocide, while our own dead go ignored and unnamed.
These people are, per capita, the safest demographic in the UK, with a homicide rate of 0.38 per 100k (for women, it’s 0.50 per 100k, and for normal men, it’s 1.23.) but we’re supposed to believe that they’re being physically exterminated? Or is genocide another one of those words that has deliberately been stripped of its meaning, like “woman” and “female”?
Who gains when people are conditioned to roll their eyes at the word “genocide”? When “woman” has no meaning in law or policy? What is the end game here?
No. A lecture disrupted by those who wished to prevent discussion of lawful and important ideas. At a university. Which is suppose to be about academic freedom, learning, refining ideas.
But do please carry on. There is no surer way of letting the whole world know that your religion can tolerate no dissent or scrutiny, and the quicker it can be hurled into the dustbin of history.
🇬🇧 I live in a country where depraved sickos caught with 1000s of the most horrific images and videos of babies and toddlers being r-ped walk free -
And a young man who threw a traffic cone that hit no one, is jailed for 3-5 years.
The Somerset Farmhouse of 1 North Street, Williton were approached by a "food influencer" that wanted to charge them £2,000 for a review.
They put out a video of Sally eating a sausage roll instead 😆.
Lets make Sally and the Somerset Farmhouse famous for free.
In the early 2000s, a colony of little penguins living on Middle Island near Warrnambool, Australia, was on the verge of disappearing.
Foxes had discovered they could reach the island during low tide, and repeated attacks devastated the population.
What had once been a thriving colony of more than 500 penguins was reduced to fewer than 10 breeding pairs by 2005.
Faced with the possible loss of the colony, conservationists turned to an unusual solution. In 2006, specially trained Maremma Sheepdogs were introduced to guard the island.
Traditionally used in Italy to protect livestock from predators, the dogs were adapted for a new role: protecting penguins.
The first guardian dogs, Eudy and Tula, were placed on the island during the breeding season. Their presence was enough to deter foxes from approaching the colony, dramatically reducing predation.
Over the following years, the penguin population began to recover, growing from the brink of extinction to well over 100 birds, with some surveys later recording around 180 to 200 penguins.
The project became one of the world's most celebrated conservation success stories. For more than a decade, fox attacks were effectively prevented while the dogs were on duty.
Their importance became especially clear in 2017 when penguins arrived earlier than expected and before the guardian dogs had returned to the island. During that period, foxes killed around 70 penguins in a single attack event.
Once the dogs were reinstated, the attacks stopped again.
Today, the Middle Island Maremma Project is recognized internationally as a pioneering example of using livestock guardian dogs to protect endangered wildlife.
The remarkable story inspired the 2015 Australian film "Oddball" and demonstrated how a simple, creative idea helped save an entire penguin colony from disappearing forever.

@Bob_cart124 As a lesbian, I am really happy that you’ve all come out of the closet and been so honest about your homophobia. For some reason, a lot of people —particularly on the left — had no idea. Thank you.
