No, according to historical records and research, no country contributed more direct economic and financial support to ensure the freedom of South Africa than Nigeria. [1, 2]
According to estimates by the South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA), Nigeria spent roughly $61 billion between 1960 and 1995 to finance the anti-apartheid movement. This massive figure represents direct financial subventions, the forfeiture of trade revenues, and institutional aid, surpassing the individual financial contributions of all other global backers. [1, 2, 3, 4]
To put this contribution into perspective, the financial and material aid from other major global supporters of the anti-apartheid struggle highlights Nigeria's unmatched economic commitment: [1, 2]
Dear South Africans,
Remember we did this for you and today you hurt Nigerians
Is this how to appreciate those that suffered for your freedom

In 1976, Nigeria established the Southern Africa Relief Fund (SARF) to support anti-apartheid liberation struggles. Under the military administration of General Olusegun Obasanjo, all Nigerian civil servants and public officers were mandated to contribute 2% of their monthly salaries to the fund, which became popularly known as the "Mandela Tax". [1, 2]
The grassroots and public initiative was highly successful: [1, 2]
•Initial Government Support: General Obasanjo's administration contributed $3.7 million to SARF, alongside personal donations of $3,000 from the General himself and $1,500 from each cabinet member. [1]
•Public Participation: Civil servants forfeited 2% of their salaries, and students actively skipped lunches to donate their allowances. [1]
•Fundraising Milestone: In just six months, popular contributions reached $10.5 million by June 1977.[1]
•Broader Aid: These funds were utilized to bring relief to victims of the apartheid regime, finance educational opportunities, and support the general welfare of liberation movements. This contribution was part of an estimated $61 billion that Nigeria spent between 1960 and 1995 toward the anti-apartheid struggle. [1, 2, 3]
I think you people overrate yourselves a lot. What business do I have with your interactions? I am not tweeting for your retweets and likes.
I am only sharing my views, promoting my party, candidates and participating in political conversations generally here.
If you think I will bow to you or anyone, you must be living in a dream world.
A Plateau State High Court has ruled that a Hausa individual born and raised in Jos Local Government Area qualifies as an indigene of the area. Justice C. Donglong delivered the judgment in a suit brought by Fatima Baba Akawu and Baba Alhaji Akawu against the Jos North Local Government Council over its refusal to issue an indigene certificate to her. The court held that being born and raised in the area entitles her to indigene status.
This is a governor attesting to it that more money are coming to the states.

Yes, hold Tinubu accountable where it is necessary, and hold your governor accountable too.

@MaziOkigbo@A_kinola02 Yes but you didn’t beat them either, we defeated PSG when it matters most to win the Club World Cup. And if you call it pre season trophy try and win UCL so you can qualify cos in your 140years history you have not qualified for it.
Some Arsenal fan said it because PSG were tired and didn’t take the game serious. I also remind them that PSG eliminated them in the same season UCL Beaton them home and away. Anytime Chelsea win they always have excuses
@CFC_OBED@WelBeast I was happy they didn’t win it because of the snake Madueke calling @ChelseaFC the place,an institution with all trophies available.
