As people exercise their right to protest all across the country––let the undeniable paths of our progress be a guide going forward: peaceful, sustained protest; strategic, committed organizing; and purposeful, overwhelming participation at the ballot box.
Today I'm endorsing @JoeBiden for President of the United States.
I encourage all like-minded Republicans to get on the right side of history and do the same.

@realDonaldTrump You said we were at 15 cases and soon would be down to close to zero. Now we're at nearly one million cases and over 56,000 deaths and you're whining about not getting credit for doing a "good job." November can't come soon enough.
@realDonaldTrump fact check: we're far behind other countries in per-capita testing, which is the only metric that matters. stop bragging that you've only tested 1% of America's population. most people are still afraid to leave the house, my dude, no matter how much you claim the opposite
@realDonaldTrump We are in the middle of the worst pandemic in modern history. People are scared. Some are dying. Many are out of a job and worried about their future. Maybe instead of complaining about how the media is so unfair, Trump should have some empathy for the suffering American people.
@realDonaldTrump The problem here is that Trump cares far more about what the media thinks about him than he cares about the American people. Everything is about how his coronavirus press conferences have huge ratings even higher than The Bachelor. But what about the Americans who have perished?
Someone please tell me why we still have migrant children in Government custody that are still separated from their loved ones?
And, a number of these children now have Covid-19?
The president of the United States' authority is not "total" in this or nearly anything else. If Obama ever said anything like that, talk radio conservatives would set themselves on fire.
The networks would never give Barack Obama this much free time to ramble on about what a great job he was doing regardless of the crisis. Network leaders would be freaked out by conservative criticism and buckle under pressure. This nonstop coverage is just preposterous.
UPDATE: Former Navy Secretary Mabus, to me: "Either you become a full fledged defender of Trump, regardless of the harm to the military, or you lose your job. Evidently no one is allowed to tell the truth if it conflicts with what Trump is saying." https://t.co/oNY8yHz3Vm
