What Is Going on with Libertarian Party?

The battle over the Libertarian Party can be viewed as a battle between entrepreneurs and bureaucrats.

Objectively, the LP has failed over half a century. What should we do about it?

Bureaucrats: Do more of mostly the same thing
Entrepreneurs: Try radically different things.

While those inclined to, and trained as, bureaucrats will cheer the old ways, and condemn radical change, my bias and training lies with the entrepreneurs.

Libertarianism is a revolutionary concept,
that we don't know yet how to implement.

Therefore, allowing a bureaucracy to lead,
is way premature.
Bureaucracies are good only for safeguarding a known pathway, but the LP's tried pathways have failed, so we don't want to save them.

Mankind has suffered 6,000 years of slavery to rulers.
Only the last few hundred years have a few of us
scratched our heads to wonder,

"Why are we subjugated to psychopathic assholes?"

So the revolutionaries try a step, and then the bureaucracy gets busy codifying it.

Any innovation that extends differently from this last (failed) step, threatens the codification.
And the bureaucracy, as defenders of the codification, will defend perpetuating the failure, rather than "radically" searching for a different path to achieve the underlying goal - liberty.

The entrepreneur however believes that any step - esp. this early in such a hard discovery process - is only to collect information, to inform the next but quite different step. The path is unknown and hidden, and we are walking blindfolded in the dark.

A prematurely inflicted bureaucracy, that by its nature demands strict adherence to prior steps (all of which have failed so far), retards the radical innovation that is needed to achieve the actual goal.
