I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Jacob Zuma is South Africa’s greatest national security threat. If he is not dealt with together with his daughter Duduzile , they will make the July Riots look like child’s play.
THIS FAMILY IS EVIL AND DANGEROUS, beyond human comprehension

I am running for president of South Africa.
We can’t have thugs running this nation. We can’t have racists running this nation and we can’t have angry dictators running this country.
We need visionary and ethical leadership driven by a deep love for all South Africans.
Inspired by the intense lightsaber duels in Ahsoka, GB number 1 fencing champion Cati Maxwell and her coach Jon Salfield show how close their world is to the latest Star Wars series.
Epic leadership lesson from Sam Whitelock / Corey Flynn: “I'm going to do everything I can to help you. If you want me to train with you, I'll do it. But, I'm not going to give you my jersey. It's your job to take it from me. It’s your job to make me retire.”
The primary impact of pressure is taking your focus away from what's important and having you think about other things. Examples: The score, how much time is left, what will happen if we lose, will I get dropped next week, etc. It's hard to win a moment without being 100% engaged
Coach education - what we know DOESN'T work effectively or efficiently.....
Conferences.
Workshops.
Accreditation / certification systems.
So what does work?
Coaches learn by coaching.
Coaches learn by coaching with and observing other coaches.
Coaches learn by seeking information to solve specific coaching problems when they arise.
Coaches learn in the context of their coaching.
So...before you plan to write another Coach Training Manual or invest money in a huge national coaching conference, why not stop - and ask yourself - "How can I create a learning experience / experiences which are most conducive of coaches learning, growing and developing?"
Can you #coach what's NOT written on the whiteboard at practice?
Can you coach the SPACES between the lines of sets and reps and workload and heart rate that's prescribed on the training program?
Can you coach players to complete their session with the INTENT of the workout rather than just deliver the CONTENT of the training session?
Can you coach athletes to WIN THE WORKOUT rather than just complete their practice session?
Colleagues - there is so much more to #coaching than writing programs, arguing about the appropriate depth of a back squat and what's the best protein supplement on the market. These things matter far less than you may believe.
You need to master the art of coaching what's hard to see, difficult to measure and at times impossible to quantify.
There's a great story about change which works nicely when it comes to helping coaches who are trying to change the culture of a team.
A young coach asks an experienced, older, senior coach, "how long will it take me to change the culture of this team?"
The older coach replies, "A few seasons".
The young coach - feeling frustrated says, "But I am in a hurry. I want this culture to change right now".
The more experienced coach responds, "Then it will take at least 5 years".
At his wit's end, the young coach says angrily, "I refuse to accept that. I want this place and these players to change right now".
"Oh", said the older coach. "Then it will take 10 years".
You can't force change.
You can't make people change.
You can't order people to change.
Change comes when people believe in you and what you're doing and when they can see the value and benefits of changing to help them realize their potential.
🚨 #CapeStorm Update: I spent time with @CityofCT teams dealing with serious flooding incidents.
