🇺🇸🇮🇱 Phyllis Bennis (Jewish Voice for Peace):
The US continues enabling Israel’s actions in Gaza with weapons and money with no ceasefire in place.
She questions whether any regional ceasefire with Iran will include Palestine, arguing US impunity in Gaza emboldened strikes on Iran.
“If Trump wants a real ceasefire, he must stop the weapons flow.”

Comment se fait-il que Sacha Straub-Kahn soit toujours porte-parole du ministère de la Justice alors qu’il a fait fuiter dans la presse de fausses informations sur Rima Hassan ?
Crazy that this is getting barely any coverage. This year’s European Press Prize was just awarded to an investigative report by the Dutch newspaper De Volkskrant. It is entitled “What the Wounds Tell” and in it the journalists Maud Effting and Willem Feenstra document the cases of 114 children in Gaza under the age of 15 who were struck by a single bullet to the head or chest. Almost all of them died or were left severely disabled. They chose to document only the cases of boys and girls under the age of 15 (though often much younger: aged 3, 4 or 7) because these are children who can be immediately identified as such. “A single bullet in these parts of the body is a clear indication that these children were deliberately targeted“, the two journalists write.

Today, we remember the Afzaal family, whose lives were taken in an Islamophobic terrorist attack in London, Ontario.
As we honour their memory, we reaffirm our commitment to combatting Islamophobia and hate in all its forms – and to building a safer and more inclusive Canada.
Five years ago, Salman, Madiha, Yumnah, and Talat Afzaal were killed in a brutal act of Islamophobic terror in London, Ontario.
We stand with their loved ones and the Muslim community across Canada who still live with the loss and the trauma of this tragedy.
It is our duty to match remembrance with responsibility. Through concrete actions, including new legislation to combat Islamophobia and hate in our communities, we will build a country where all Muslim Canadians can live their lives without fear.
Nearly three years to destroy most of Gaza…
• Bombs supplied by America
• Logistics provided by the United Kingdom
• A genocidal mission carried out by Israel
The satellite image shows a landscape where virtually everything has been destroyed.
