@lmeducational Ask students, what have they learnt?what are they good /not so good at? How do teachers help them learn more & remember more - great TLA uses starting points, builds on learning in small steps and consistently checks learning via formative assess activities & retrieval practice

@PepsMccrea Get the curriculum design right, have aspirational teachers sequencing lessons to build on learning in small steps, consistently check learning with a range of interactive formative assessment activities and also build in retrieval practice, behaviour often manages itself 🙂

Make the pace if your lesson challenging by setting timescales for all tasks, this will keep them interested and focussed.
