Every Summer I got lectures off people for wanting Liverpool to act like the massive club they are and spend some decent money.

They told me all I wanted was 100 million pound signings and I was lectured that's not the Liverpool way and they'd never want that.

Same people now are ecstatic we have made 100 million pound signings.

You couldn't make it up, you know the accounts who were at it.

Remember the nonsense they were spouting how spending big money was not the Liverpool Way 😂

While me on the other hand got what I always wanted...
