This includes the announcement of £150m funding for a “turbocharged Enhanced” Investment Zone in Northern Ireland. That’s less than the £160m funding for each of the investment zones elsewhere in the UK though.

There's something I've noticed about ChatGPT and mathematics. It's not just that ChatGPT struggles with maths.

ChatGPT is DISHONEST at math.

Perhaps its training rewarded more strongly for appearing to achieve a desired outcome, than it did for methodological honesty?🧵

When I worked at the Treasury, I used to get really annoyed by the Daily Mail’s ridiculous illustrations of the impact of the Budget on a “typical” family. Now the Treasury is doing it 🤦‍♀️

@TfL My husband tried registering them on the EPC website but it was only giving the option of registering as exempt or a lorry, not a Euro 4 car. They don’t mind paying the charge for a car but not the £300+ charge for a lorry!

@TfL my mother in law is visiting from France and is trying to pay the ULEZ charge. She can’t do it online as the car isn’t recognised on the system. I called the TfL ULEZ team and they referred me to Euro Parking Collections. EPC phone line closed until 29/12. How can she pay?

@TfL Thanks for replying. That’s who we called but they say they can’t help because it’s a French registered car. They said we need to contact Euro Parking Collections (EPC) but their phone lines are closed until 29/12 (1/2)

@Samfr My children’s school is still waiting for the LA to confirm the arrangements. But both my over 12s caught COVID in September so can’t be vaccinated until 28 days after positive test result anyway.

@stevencjcummins Parents think the school is doing it, but schools think T&T are doing it, but actually nobody is. A child could have been sitting next to someone who tested positive their parents haven’t been informed so they don’t even know they need to test.

@stevencjcummins The system is unworkable. You can’t expect a child to be responsible for providing names and contact details of everyone they’ve sat near in school so how do T&T get the details if they’re not working with the school.
