Crazier still, @PiedmontHealth double billing is considered “accepted practice” by the industry. If a measurement is taken by default during the visit, talking about it costs extra? Should I expect a bill for Doc telling me I need to lose a few pounds? Ridiculous.
@PiedmontHealth double billing preventative care visits. Doc noticed elevated BP during annual checkup, so she billed the checkup plus an additional $500 to my insurance for “level 4 diagnostic” visit! That’s #fraud. Look elsewhere for primary care.
Nooo! Range on the tri-motor @Tesla#Cybertruck reduced to 320? That 500+ original announced range would’ve been a game-changer for EV trucks! Need higher capacity for more towing / hauling range (200 mi+) to avoid F-150 Lightning’s fate.
@JustinPBarnett That being said, the “install” metric is hard to measure and police fairly. Not sure it was the right thing to use.
Devs who sell games for an upfront cost may come out ahead with this pricing.
@unity botched this rollout. Oh, and splash screen removal!!! 2/2
@JustinPBarnett The thing Unity should stress is that the first 200K installs are free. You’re billed for installs beyond that.
If your game is tracking to 200K copies, you’ll upgrade to pro - bumping your “free” installs to 1M. You pay starting at 1M and 1.
Mobile devs should worry. 1/2
@georgebsocial My concern: PiHole and most router ad blocks ALREADY completely disable Unity Ads and telemetry with default settings.
“Trust us” install tracking is an unreliable metric with no recourse / oversight for the dev - period.
It’s the DevOps Dashboard all over again!
And what about devs who need to get rid of the “Made With #UnityEngine ” splash screen? $2000+ per seat now?!? Indies who work 2+ years to make a title have no options without Plus. Might need to dust off my C++.
WTF?!? Tracking and billing by install, @unity ? @godotengine is free, and @UnrealEngine is doubling down on “no royalties on your first $1M.”
Is it just me, or did you just make yourselves the bad guy? Even with the higher “free” limits, this is BAD.
@TMobile removing autopay discounts for credit cards to keep more cash in their pockets is greedy and anti-consumer. Bring back @JohnLegere and the #uncarrier, please!
No, @netflix - my account is bundled with my @TMobile family plan, with upgrades you sold based on stream count (like every other service.) With increasing competition and a shrinking catalog, “anti consumer” is your move? Yikes. 😳

@clipstudiopaint Easy fix - sell both. Subs for those who prefer (incentivize with cloud features); perpetual licenses / upgrade fees for those who prefer owning license (2.x, 3.x, etc) @AvidSibelius does this quite successfully!
And Barn Brawl now has host migration! Super nerdy tweet, but a huge milestone! Slick execution in Fusion, @ExitGames - now to balance snapshots with bandwidth use!
For my WHS friends - in case you thought I was kidding. 80 degrees, sunshine, sweet tea and front porch sittin’. Y’all come. #southernstateofmind https://t.co/7MBXRYxo2K
