@Meridianoonline Sería bueno aclarar si eso de "bajados del avión" es en sentido figurado, si no contaban con las visas supongo que no los chequearon y no llegaron a abordar fisicamente el avión, no creo que la aerolínea que sea los haya permitido embarcar sin saber si su visado estaba correcto.

Hoy es la final del Campeonato del Mundo de Fútbol.
Naturalmente quiero que gane España, pero también el fútbol y todo aquello que une a nuestros dos países.

Durante un rato España y Argentina serán rivales. Después volverán a ser lo que siempre han sido para mí: dos pueblos hermanos.

Quizá suene tonto decir esto, pero siento la necesidad de expresar que, pase lo que pase, yo seguiré admirando a los inmensos artistas argentinos con los que he tenido el privilegio de trabajar, seguiré admirando a sus jugadores de fútbol y, por supuesto, seguiré queriendo a mis muchos amigos de Argentina y a todo un país al que me siento profundamente unido.

El deporte tiene esa maravillosa capacidad de enfrentarnos sin dividirnos, de competir sin dejar de respetarnos y de recordarnos que la verdadera victoria nunca debería pertenecer al odio, sino a la admiración.

Que gane quien mejor juegue. Y que, cuando el árbitro señale el final, celebremos todos algo mucho más importante que un resultado: la amistad entre dos países que hablan el mismo idioma, y la oportunidad que nos da la vida para con el buen comportamiento de jugadores e hinchas, de dar ejemplo, de enorgullecer y hacer brillar a las comunidades hispanas de todo el mundo.
Si así es, ambos habremos ganado esa final.

@aksjefokus Agree, if Berge had exaggerated the contact, roll down to the floor and stayed there until medical assistance came, VAR would have reviewed the play in slow motion and definitely a pen would have been called. Sad but true

When both Argentina and Switzerland were numerically the same, the Swiss were in control of the game and could have led if they finished off their chances, especially in the second half but the game took a swift turn after a red card to Embolo.

What is true;
1. Embolo was already on a yellow card
2. Paredes went for a challenge to stop a Swiss attack
3. The ref spotted it and instantly sounded his whistle, gave Paredes a yellow card for the late tackle.
4. VAR are allowed to review every yellow card issued by the ref and the Paredes’ own wasn’t different. Whilst the review was on, they saw that the Argentine didn’t deserve the booking because the player who many thought had been fouled, actually dived.
5. The ref was told to look at the on pitch screen and then found out the Swiss player dived.
6. The ref knew he’s been tricked by Embolo. Apologised to Paredes, chalked off the yellow card and was furious at Embolo and gave him the punishment he gave to the Argentine midfielder and unfortunately Embolo was already on a yellow.
7. Two yellows turn red and Embolo was sent off.

What is lie;
1. The ref rigged the game.
2. Embolo shouldn’t have received the second yellow card.

Embolo let his country down. He cried himself off the pitch and will forever remember this moment.

In 2026, where cameras are everywhere, players on yellow cards still dive?
