@deirdre_tobias Well, in fact, data analyzed is very solid in getting in conclusion that lifestyle intervention, until proving otherwise, neither protect against cardiovascular mortality nor protect against mortality in subjects with prediabetes and diabetes. We need to test new strategies.

@ellenfallows In fact, the comparison was of a more intensive versus a less intensive lifestyle intervention that included a diet strategy to deal with prediabetes/diabetes. We performed several subanalysis, including sensitivity analysis, meta-regression and by group.
