@realscimatters@ReformUSA_ And "refusing something that is morally good or neutral out of pride, etc" is vague too. And it's a very high bar for being in the wrong, so to speak, for a woman compared to a man. Isn't it?
@realscimatters@ReformUSA_ Very vague. Obviously a man belittling or manipulating his wife or having no regard for her wellbeing are bad but "demanding things for his comfort and ego" and "obedience in ways that conflict with her dignity" can mean anything, can you explain?
@realscimatters@ReformUSA_ Okay. And what does an unreasonable refusal look like so I can have full context and understanding? And what would a husband leading selfishly or harshly look like?
@realscimatters@ReformUSA_ Well so it is just when she feels like it then since one can say "I won't participate in what you said" or "you can't tell me not to do this thing" for any reason at any time, right? Respect and submission are, practically, identical. What if the refusal is unreasonable?
@realscimatters@ReformUSA_ Just so I'm clear and fully understanding; the husband's sacrificial love is expected and mandatory but the wife's submissive love isn't to be expected or mandatory, it's up to what she's feeling up for and a man should just keep up the sacrificial love no matter what.
@realscimatters@ReformUSA_ Yeah a man shouldn't have to demand obedience, his wife should follow him. If you insist your man is Godly and Christ-like then doing what he says shouldn't be an issue. If not then you're not being the wife he deserves and you've wronged him badly. Is that reasonable?
@Mkschizo2 Yeah I have a couple of those, drinking pretty rough. But you admit you have a problem and then just don't do it for as long as you can, reinforce that its a problem and think on the positives.
