@Romakka So what if he did? (And he didn’t.) You have to have control of your stick. If a little tap sends your stick flying into other players’ faces, you shouldn’t be on the ice. What you “planned” to do doesn’t matter. If the stick hits the face, you lost control of your stick.
@HolsebergJane @TrumpsHurricane You should at least visit those places for a day or two and find out how little you know about them. Start with Germany! Doesn’t sound like you know much about America either, though, so direct experience of another country probably wouldn’t help expand your knowledge base.
@mount127@oopsiwentglam1@TheoFleury14 I appreciate all the material you sent. I don’t agree with you, but at least you’re trying to educate people and you have a coherent position.
@mount127@oopsiwentglam1@TheoFleury14 The Emergencies Act was invoked, for the first time, to protect THE ECONOMY. Specifically, to reopen the Ambassador Bridge. That’s a terrifying precedent. So thanks for that. Freedom. Yay.
@mount127@oopsiwentglam1@TheoFleury14 The Emergencies Act is the War Measures Act 2.0, and that is very, very serious business. It used to be reserved for grave threats to the state, and even then it was abused. But because the police didn’t enforce the law with the Convoy, and with the public so fed up with it…
@mount127@oopsiwentglam1@TheoFleury14 As soon as you tied up the border bridge, they said, “ok this isn’t helping us any more” and they shut you down. Bang. Just like that.
