Across the country, Lib Dems are winning in Tory-held seats previously thought unwinnable. The bookies make Richard the favourite in Tiverton and Honiton and our team will be doing everything possible to make it happen!
We’re proud to announce that Richard Foord will be our candidate for the Tiverton & Honiton by-election.
@RichardFoordLD lives in Uffculme with his wife and family. He's the best choice to stand up for Devon.

The way the Met has handled the party scandal is utter chaos. It may be a cock up, it may be something worse, but either way it's undermining trust in the police.
A stitch up between the Met leadership and Number 10 will damage our politics for generations and it looks like it is happening right in front of our eyes.
The Queen sitting alone, mourning the loss of her husband, was the defining image of lockdown. Not because she is the Queen, but because she was just another person, mourning alone like too many others. Whilst she mourned, Number 10 partied. Johnson must go.
An incredible honour to be sworn in as the Member of Parliament for North Shropshire this afternoon!
Looking forward to representing my constituents in Westminster
Cliche alert… this is a political earthquake and once again proves Lib Dems can win anywhere. Young activists have once again played a massive role in this campaign and we need many more to get involved to make progressive change in this country. MASSIVE result.
Millions of people are fed up with Boris Johnson and his failure to provide leadership throughout the pandemic and last night the voters of North Shropshire spoke for all of them.
Congratulations @HelenHalcrow, you will make a wonderful MP for your community.
We’ve been out campaigning for @helenhalcrow in #NorthShropshire today! A win here on Thursday would be monumental! It’s a great atmosphere there and we’d encourage all Lib Dems to get up there and help out if you can!
Last Christmas I handed presents over to my family on their driveway, I haven't seen them in a building since the pandemic started.
It is deeply upsetting to think that people in Downing Street were laughing about holding a party while so many people in N Shrops were suffering.
