This morning, I presented my bill to ensure rural residents can access major employment & education hubs by public transport. The bill, due to have its second reading on January 26th, would set minimum service levels for public transport in rural areas.

Tonight, I will be voting against the Conservatives' disasterous Rwanda bill. Their proposal is an expensive, unworkable stunt. It rips up the rule of law and would undermine our judiciary in a way not seen before.

I cannot vote for this in good conscience.
