As underwhelming as the Steam Machine is, it might actually be the winner in the long run.
Xbox? Also expensive, no games
Playstation? Also expensive, and no games or discs
Nintendo? As usual, only suitable for low fidelity bing bing wahoo and causal living room multiplayer games for kids

Android is making sideloading more restrictive.
But there's still an easy workaround.
Using Shizuku + InstallerX Revived, you can install APKs through Android Debug Bridge (ADB), bypassing many of Android's new installation restrictions.
Here's how:
1️⃣ Install Shizuku
I recommend thedjchi's fork because it includes a built-in Watchdog that automatically restarts the service if it stops.
2️⃣ Enable Developer Options
• Open Settings → About phone
• Tap Build number 7 times
• Enter your PIN if prompted
• Open Developer options
• Enable:
• USB debugging
• Wireless debugging
3️⃣ Pair Shizuku
• Open Shizuku
• Tap "Start via Wireless debugging"
• Select Pairing
• Tap "Developer Options"
• Open Wireless debugging
• Tap "Pair device with pairing code"
• Keep the pairing screen open
• Enter the 6-digit code into Shizuku
• Tap Start
You should now see that Shizuku is running.
If you're using thedjchi's fork, enable:
✅ Watchdog
✅ Start on boot
This keeps the service running automatically.
4️⃣ Install InstallerX Revived
• Install InstallerX Revived
• Open Shizuku
• Go to Authorized applications
• Allow InstallerX
• Open InstallerX Revived
• Set the installation method (Privilege) to Shizuku
Done.
From now on, simply open any APK with InstallerX Revived.
Because installations are routed through ADB, they can bypass many of Android's new sideloading restrictions while providing a much smoother installation experience.
A fan-made project has brought Mario Kart Wii to PC through full recompilation, making it the first Wii game recompiled this way.
Unlike an emulator, it runs as a native PC application, enabling 4K resolution, uncapped frame rates, ultrawide support, and other PC enhancements while preserving original gameplay.
The team used AI to generate parts of the recompilation code to speed up development, but the project still required significant human work to test, fix, and integrate everything.
Players must provide their own legal copy of Mario Kart Wii.
It also supports the popular Retro Rewind mod, which adds over 200 tracks, with the first public beta planned for August.
@Techjunkie_Aman Also note that you should mention non-fedora immutable distros (Vanilla OS, probably SteamOS too), which are more restrictive because they are A/B partition swapping, not using ostree, meaning they don't support layering packages.
