@filthy_imoutoSL This came across my feed and makes me so sad to see that you feel this way. You shouldn't have to worry about this at all, but I know it's a huge problem especially in SL. All ideas come from somewhere - it's insane to assume that billions of people on earth would never have the
@filthy_imoutoSL because that's really the only meaning to takeaway from that. I hope from all the lovely comments that you can feel a little better about this and know you're not alone - creators go through the same worry and the overall expectation of being "100% unique" needs to change.
@filthy_imoutoSL same idea every now and then! Honestly it just happens and you shouldn't worry or feel bad about that AT ALL, no matter who tries to bully you into thinking that way. Let your creativity shine, and if anything try to look at it like "wow that's amazing we have similar styles!"
@amorennasierra i've decided the best solution is to simply never update the marketplace 😂 i always put it off for so long because of how tedious it is to list multiple colors of the same thing, I really wish they had a better system for that. also that romper looks super pretty ♥
@Ikkyface it's kinda misleading to promote it for a specific mod in that case. If the mod isn't required and doesn't use weights specific to the mod (unlike flat/petite chest mods), makes more sense to just say it has its own built-in rolls/squish
everytime I come across a cute flickr feed of someone new to me or one that I haven't kept up with, I will fave almost everything until I'm like "okay how creepy do I look on their notifications right now" and then I stop 😅
@amorennasierra I agree. I’m still new to sl Twitter (only jumped on here a few weeks ago) but I’ve been noticing that I like the vibes here a lot, the discussions seem to be a lot more open and chill
