@kavitachowdhury The chief strategist also knows that the NDA government won’t make the same mistakes as the UPA did. The BJP is all too familiar with this playbook and can’t be taken for a ride.
In 2011, it was Anna; in 2026, it Abhijit. The template is the same. Parties, who worked together earlier, have now changed sides. Aam admis have now become cockroaches!
Ossoff: Last September, the President of Kazakhstan calls Donald Trump and says he wants to grant tungsten mining rights to an American company. And the very next month, Eric and Don Jr. get a stake in the American company pursuing the mining deal.
Six days later, six days after Prince Eric and Prince Don get their stake, Kazakhstan announces this company will get, “The largest known undeveloped tungsten resource in the world.” A few more weeks go by, and then the U.S. government, run by their father, sets aside 1.6 billion of your tax dollars to fund and finance their mining project. In Kazakhstan.
All this while you pay more for gas, for groceries, for health care, and that's just the tip of the iceberg.

Too much toxicity on social media on this pic of a young Captain proposing in front of a chopper.
On many occasions, army equipment is open to public viewing & photography. There's is no security breach.
This young pilot lives away from family & friends quite often. Let him be.
Govt agencies which allowed such rampant violation of norms for these death traps to come up in first place will now crack down.
How convenient for them!
Do read the story. Balanced.
Let me give another viewpoint.
The Armed Forces will need to get used to the fact that social media is now ubiquitous. I don’t think it is a cause for worry or requires knee jerk responses. So long as no sensitive information goes out…we need to move with the times.
1) The helicopters were *displayed* at the function. I am sure lots of family members clicked pics. Big deal. Don’t members of the public at large click selfies at, say, AeroIndia? Just because the video went viral does not mean the youngster needs to be keel-hauled.
2) Proposing in uniform DOES NOT denigrate it. Marriage in uniform (and attending as guests in uniform) is an old military tradition. Though more common in church weddings, it can be done at any. Pics below are from the Net. There is also an ‘Arch of Sabers’ where fellow service members form an aisle using their swords (or rifles for non-commissioned officers) as the newly married couple walks through.
The video IMHO is ‘recruitment poster’ material and nothing that the officer needs to be counselled for.
Wishing the young couple a happy married life.
You want the young officer to sacrifice his life for the love of the Nation, but you don’t want him to express his love for his fiancée.
In the Army we say ‘Youngster nahi karega, toh kaun karega’.
If you can not find a fault in his professional capabilities, don’t do this nuktachini for such a pure gesture of love and belonging.
Military equipment has been on display during many ‘Know your Army’ exhibitions around the country. The students and non military personnel have clicked pics with it showing pride and love for the Army. So, please don’t bring in the national security angle into this.
Let the young soldier do his national duty with pride and honour 👍

On June 2, the Director of Census Operations (DCO), Rajasthan, wrote to all district functionaries that “during the analysis of field data collected so far, some discrepancies have been noticed”. In the letter accessed by The Hindu, the Charge Officers were instructed to “verify the block-level data through the CMMS (Census Management and Monitoring System) portal, in accordance with the actual field situation”.
Several enumerators, mostly government schoolteachers and anganwadi workers, had taken to social media to report the trend and to flag the glaring inequality and poverty on the ground. Some even complained that residents were unwilling to share information, fearing cancellation of government benefits.
Excl: Ground reality vs official records: Census fieldwork is throwing up data that differ from govt records on open defecation free villages, use of cow dung cakes/kerosene/crop residue for cooking in urban areas despite LPG connection, no electricity. Enumerators asked to revisit and review the “data discrepancies”.I ✍️

"You're f****** crazy. You'd be in prison if it weren't for me. I'm saving your a***. Everybody hates you now. Everybody hates Israel because of this."
That's what a U.S. official tells Axios President Trump unloaded on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during a heated phone call over Israel's military actions in Lebanon.
Trump was reportedly furious that Israel's moves risked blowing up U.S. diplomatic efforts in the region, at one point also asking Netanyahu: "What the f*** are you doing?"
Chairman of the Central Board of Secondary Education (@cbseindia29 ) Rahul Singh, IAS officer and current Secretary of CBSE Himanshu Gupta, IAS are
transferred.
This was inevitable.
This is a first step to correct the wrongdoings.
However, in New Delhi it’s unlikely that Rahul Singh can reward any big contract without the pressure from above.
The Modi government has taken a logical next step now to institute an Inquiry committee to probe the procurement of On-Screen Marking (OSM) services by CBSE.
Let’s watch how it proceeds.
US President Donald Trump posts on Truth Social, "I had a conversation with Bibi Netanyahu today, asking him not to go into a major raid of Beirut, Lebanon. He turned his Troops around. Thank you Bibi! I also had a conversation with Representatives of the Leaders of Hezbollah, and they agreed to stop shooting at Israel, and its soldiers. Likewise, Israel agreed to stop shooting at them. Let’s see how long that lasts — Hopefully it will be for ETERNITY! President DONALD J. TRUMP"
