I'm grateful for the Body of Christ and the tremendous work ongoing to proclaim His Word all over the world.
In no particular order, I'll like to highlight ministries that helped my spiritual growth in 2022.
I'll try to add Clips.

If you are struggling with your prayer life, I recommend that you listen to these messages and read these books

Where are the Fathers?
We all can do better. We all should do better.
The world has changed. We now know better. The dynamics of parenting today are so different. And beyond providing money, which many mothers also do these days, fathers need to be more present and emotionally available.
The other day, I posted that I was named Father of the Year at my children’s school for the second time. and someone made a side comment like, maybe it’s because they know I own So Fresh. I started to respond but deleted it. If it was by reputation alone, they could pick from at least 100 fathers, from CEOs of multinationals, top government officials, international business moguls, and more. But that’s beside the point.
I’ve been a father at that school for over a decade. And I can boldly say I’ve attended at least 95% of every single school event or activity, whether big, small, or seemingly inconsequential. Yes, I may have a bit more flexibility, but it’s also about prioritising. You may not be able to do 98%, but you can do 50%. Effort has to be intentional and sometimes sacrificial.
And it goes beyond just school events.
- Let them see you at home. Don’t always be out at the club or guys’ hangouts during every free moment. Stay at home
- Watch movies with them
- Discuss football with them.
- Talk with them about school.
- Laugh with them.
- Play with them.
- Take them to practice, let the driver go home on Saturday.
- Eat with them.
- Pray with them.
- Take them out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
- Do periodic getaways, even a weekend is fine.
- Cook for them sometimes, even if you have chef.
- Wash the car together
- Take a stroll
See, children build their identity and confidence from what they see, not just what they’re told. Your presence reinforces a child’s sense of worth, safety, and balance. They learn what love looks like, how to express emotions, how to treat others, and how to expect to be treated largely by observing us. When fathers are absent, emotionally unavailable, or inconsistent, a gap is created that no material gift or financial provision can fill. Presence is powerful, it shapes who they become.
They need your presence more than your presents.
Let’s show up better. For them. For ourselves.
For the Future
A man getting his kids ready for school is not assisting his wife. He is their father and is simply being involved in parenting. He is not assisting; he is actively parenting. When a father helps get his children ready for school, it shouldn’t be seen as him helping his wife as if parenting is her job and he is just giving support. Rather, he is fulfilling his own role as a parent. Being involved in his children’s lives is not an act of help; it is his responsibility. He is not doing a favor; he is actively parenting. Fatherhood is not assistance, it is full participation in parenting. it is him fulfilling his own equal role in parenting. The point is to redefine fatherhood as active involvement, not occasional assistance.
If you’re looking for the biggest, flashiest, most popular culinary school in Nigeria, this isn’t for you❤️
But if you’re looking for a place that’s intentional about your growth as a chef or business owner, watch this
There’s something intellectually stimulating about two people arguing well. No shouting or insult. Just actually holding a conversation. Conversations are a sign of a functional place. And it's refreshing to find people who can smoothly challenge ideas and assess personalities.
Real thoughtfulness is in the details most people miss. You can look for a small solution to an unspoken discomfort, a thoughtful tool to make their everyday easier. Let me give an example. I noticed how long one of my bosses works, how often he is on his laptop,
If you can:
Send a street kid to school
Feed an orphanage for a month
Clear hospital bills
Support a local NGO
“Adopt” a widow
Volunteer your time
Do it.
Do something for someone who can never repay you.
Your life must be more than bread and butter.
Your life must be beyond you.
Happy Father's Day to God the Father, who fathered all fathers but whom no one fathered. The Father of Lights, with whom there's no variableness nor shadow of turning. The Faithful Father who has brought us this far and will take us farther and further.
There are things I won’t do but will definitely not question.
There are things I will do that I don’t expect to make sense to everybody.
When it comes to dating and relationships, EVERYTHING you believe is valid. It only needs to make sense to you and your partner.
