I liked the game when I got the first ending in my first playthrough, didn't have it in me to play it 3-4 more times.
But man, watching the rest of the endings and reading the lore has absolutely captivated me
seeing it like this solidified my "kоtоуսkі doesn't love her, and he doesn't even think he does, you're all just under spells" opinion even more because he was right there the entire time. there is no background music in real life so he was hearing this the same way we are now. he shows right after this ritual that he can make things stop hurting for her simply by making eye contact and telling her it doesn't hurt -- but he doesn't do that for this? he watches her suffer... actually, it's worse than that: he restrains her. be serious.
So it turns out that writing is thinking. It's the same process.
"Writing compels us to think — not in the chaotic, non-linear way our minds typically wander, but in a structured, intentional manner."
Outsourcing writing to LLMs is THE SAME THING as outsourcing thinking.
Ok. I did the thing where you watch multiple endings of a game on youtube instead of doing multiple playthroughs like I told myself I would. But. It's vastly improved my opinion on Silent Hill F. What a great story! What great endings!

Aaron Swartz downloaded 70 GBs of articles from JSTOR (0.0875% of Meta) in 2010. Faced $1 million in fine and 35 years in jail. Took his own life in 2013.
always re read your favourite book and re watch your favourite film/series at different stages of your life, the plot never changes but your perspective does
It's because in ADHD the brain often has a faster idea generation than working memory can keep up with.
So you’re mid sentence and your brain goes “wait, this version is better,” and it instantly switches tracks. But that “better sentence” isn’t fully stored anywhere stable yet, because working memory in ADHD can be more fragile under interruption. When you pause, you interrupt the original sentence and the new one before either is fully encoded.
It’s basically: idea A → replaced by idea B → attention shift → buffer clears → both A and B disappear
Update on today's hearing in the FCC, where Faisal Siddiqui appeared on our behalf:
1. The FCC upheld the stay order against summary evictions, along with all previous orders in this case.
2. The CJ-led bench expressed displeasure that the CDA has still not adopted a regulatory framework to govern katchi abadis
3. The bench agreed with our counsel that the regulatory framework must recognise the statutory rights of all katchi abadi dwellers & residents of informal settlements based on the principle of regularization & upgradation on site & (only where necessary) relocation of katchi abadis, as laid out in the National Housing Policy 2025 & the CDA 1960 ordinance.
4. The FCC bench directed CDA to formalise a regulatory framework in consultation with the primary stakeholders, i.e. the residents within 4 weeks when the case will be fixed again.
We expect CDA to comply with FCC orders & immediately desist from further home demolitions or eviction notices in Islamabad.
The fact that HIV outbreak in Punjab is not a headline in our media, and no heads have rolled, no health secretary or minister is held responsible for it, tells you everything that is wrong with this system and how Maryam gov despite its claims is not any different.
Massive evictions are taking place across #Islamabad. Thousands of families are being forcefully displaced with no alternative housing. Some of these settlements are pre-partition which means they were here before many of us moved to Islamabad.
One of the Christian abaadis under threat is also one of the oldest Christian neighbourhoods in the city where workers of the city reside. Some of these residents are literally the builders of this city, they can name which public infrastructure they helped build.
In addition, Rimsha Colony which is another Christian Abaadi where CDA and Islamabad administration themselves settled people are also facing an eviction threat. Please bear in mind this is happening to thousands of Islamabad residents who have built, the city, they run the city and provide services to all. From sanitation workers to house helpers, lab technicians to nurses, drivers to mechanics - everyone who serves the city lives in these areas. Islamabad is the most expensive city of Pakistan. Where does the state think these people will go? Amidst a global crisis with soaring prices of basic commodities - when will state fulfil its basic obligations? These evictions are anti-people, cruel and inhumane. They should be halted at once. #StopIslamabadEvictions #SaveH9 #SaveNurpur #SaveBariImam
