Did I tell you that I wrote to our M.P. Ayoub Khan and invited him to come and visit us at the allotments?
I really wasn't expecting him to say yes - but he did and he came yesterday afternoon.
It was really hot so I thought I'd have a little nap while I was waiting for him to come.
I found a shady spot under a bush and fell fast asleep.
When I woke up Mr Khan had gone!
He told Betty he would come back another time so I'm looking forward to that.
Betty took him to the Memorail Garden and he loved seeing sweet Robert's statue.
Betty told me that he was a really nice human and I promised that I wouldn't fall asleep when he comes back.

A local elderly man has been keeping this puppy alive for 2 months since it showed up in his area.

I'm not sure if we can save it. Some sort of brain issue for sure. Our vets are on the case and said the best thing it can have now is time.

I had my monthly shareholders’ meeting at Dutch Barn today and they all say I should insist that all the newspapers use this photo for my obituary. They said I look really handsome. It’s so lovely that they’re thinking about me.

My wife wanted a German Shepherd puppy for Valentine’s Day after struggling deeply with the pain of never being able to become a mother. We went to adopt a puppy and met little Luna. But when we picked her up to leave, her mother cried in heartbreak. My wife started crying too. So instead of taking just the puppy, we brought both Luna and her mother home together. ❤️

It was so warm yesterday that I spent a lot of time just sleeping in the Big Greenhouse.
I'm not sure if I dreamed this or not, but I think Betty told me that something special is being planned at the allotments for August.
I'll let you know when I find out more about it.
It's good to have something to look forward to, isn't it?
