“God, you said you'd take care of me."
That's a promise many believers hold onto, but have you considered the context behind it?
God's provision reflects His character, but Scripture often connects His care with a life of generosity and participation in His mission.
"Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:21
What receives our time, attention, and resources often reveals what we value most. But generosity doesn't just expose what's in our hearts, it has the power to reshape them.
Sometimes our first response is frustration, confusion, or complaint. But what if we tried gratefulness first?
Even in the unexpected moments, God is still faithful. He’s still providing. He’s still working beyond what we can see or understand.
Sometimes the wilderness reveals what’s really in our hearts. Do we trust God or do we question His presence when trials come?
Even in seasons of hunger, thirst, wandering, and uncertainty, God is faithful every time.
No matter what season you’re facing, a Red Sea moment or bitter waters in the real world, God is still in control. He walks with you in patience, guides you like a loving Father, and never leaves your side.
Cling to Him. Obey Him. Trust Him.
No matter how deep the waters feel, God has not left your side. He is your provider, your protector, your warrior, and your healer.
When fear rises and trust feels difficult, He reminds us:
“I will always be here. I will take care of you.”
This is good news: God isn’t distant or detached, He’s near. He’s involved.
Right in the middle of your life, the good and the hard. He is working, moving, and personally involved in every detail. Nothing you’re facing is outside of His control. Nothing catches Him off guard.
We often cling to what’s familiar, even when it keeps us bound.
Israel wanted comfort. God wanted freedom.
And the truth is — surrender can feel scary because redemption is rarely comfortable. But God isn’t interested in keeping us comfortable; He’s committed to setting us free
Ever feel misunderstood for the way you live, give, and follow Jesus? Not everyone will “get it” and that’s okay.
People can’t fully understand a Spirit-led life without the Holy Spirit. So love them, be kind, but don’t let confusion shake your calling.
Take a moment and pray this today.
What we declared together on Sunday is still true today:
The Father planned your salvation. The Son purchased it through the cross and resurrection. The Spirit opened your eyes and brought you to life.
