@MartinDotNet I can believe this. I've turned off logs before because they were too expensive and not worth the time spent to thin them out. Continued happily with sampled tracing.
@GergelyOrosz I'm not sure I feel the same. You might spend less time coding the refactor and rewrite up front, but more time dealing with consequences and integration. MVP would be even more M if you can figure out the very smallest customer facing thing you can do first.
@GergelyOrosz I feel like it has an element of being about other people's roles, not the "architects" themselves. If you work with an architect, it suggests architecture isn't your responsibility. All engineers are expected to consider wider architecture to some degree.
@MinerStriking@Harryslaststand Because he couldn't have at that age. Leaving this here in case anyone crawls my timeline and doesn't get the joke and assumes I'm really agreeing.
I've finally written up what I've learned from my biggest four side projects over the last few years. Side projects have always been important to me so it feels right to acknowledge them properly. https://t.co/xAtrbOznAd
@Squiggle@MartinDotNet@honeycombio Thanks for the tip, very appreciated! I replied to someone from AND Digital on LinkedIn but haven't heard back yet. Is there someone I can talk to about the role?
@sorsoup@GergelyOrosz Choosing a ticket format where you get paid for resale looks more hands on than paper tickets. With named tickets becoming common, an artist/venue can be seen as OK with touts simply by not preventing it.
Why does Microsoft Office have trending content? I don't want to see my neighbors household budgets, unfinished novels, &c. What could this possibly mean? Just infinite PowerPoint slides as stories or reels?
