Did The New York Times feature a Jewish Israeli genocide scholar to present a "different" view on Gaza? Not quite.
They ignored 50+ scholars who rejected the genocide claim and chose the one who didn’t.
That’s not journalism. That’s strategy. @nytimes gave a fringe accusation manufactured legitimacy, and they knew exactly what they were doing.
Since October 7th, the nature of antisemitism in Ireland has changed - and not for the better.
From Israelis being spat on and assaulted, to a young Jewish man being beaten up in a nightclub, we are witnessing the physical manifestation of Jew hatred in this country - something unthinkable only a few short years ago.
The worrying thing is that there is nothing being done to acknowledge this escalation and combat it. Point to any statement from the leaders of this country condemning those attacks. You will find none.
The media & political class are in complete denial, and scoff at any suggestion as attempting to 'censor criticism of Israel.' Forgive but what does assaulting Jews have to do with your views on Israel?
Why have things escalated? Because, for two years, the entire political class of this country have poured kerosene on the fire - steadily escalating their rhetoric at every turn. To admit there was a problem would be to admit their complicity.
Once again, this hatred is met by Irish silence. Some things never change.
In a world with growing antisemitism and hate, where leaders are still denying its existence in their own countries, and the silent majority is being bullied into, well, silence, be this woman.
Stand up against hate.
Be vocal against antisemitism.
Support your Jewish community.
Egypt 🇪🇬 built an even bigger wall after October 7 to ensure no Palestinians cross the border.
Jordan 🇯🇴 categorically refused to welcome refugees.
In Europe, Ireland 🇮🇪 and Spain 🇪🇸 were the first to recognize a Palestinian state, yet the last to welcome refugees.
Lebanon 🇱🇧, Syria 🇸🇾, Qatar 🇶🇦, Kuwait 🇰🇼, and other Arab states loudly support Gaza, but not one has offered asylum.
Apparently, it’s easier to tweet solidarity than show it.
Since October 7, there have been a documented total of over 42,000 pro-Palestine protests across the Western world. In the US, the Crowd Counting Consortium recorded more than 7,500 events by April 2024; broader analyses put the number closer to 12,400. In Western Europe, the European Palestinian Media Center (EPAL) documented around 30,000 protests by January 2025. This combined total—over 42,000 protests.None of them called on Hamas to step out from ruling Gaza (politically and militarily). Yet, in Gaza there were 8-10 protests, ALL OF THEM CALLING ON HAMAS TO STEP OUT FROM RULING GAZA.
Why is this claim different than every other claim?
A reminder, here is every time that the BBC said that a famine was imminent.

The Druze and Christians in Syria are being massacred, Israel is stepping in to defend the Druze.
The Islamic State in Syria is a problem that must be monitored.
Syrian jihadists are forcing Druze to jump off balconies, and shooting them as they do.
Why isn’t the world raging over the massacre of the Druze?
Where are your eyes now?
Any protests in European cities?
Any encampments in US campuses?
Any UN or EU condemnations?
Tucker Carlson? Piers Morgan?
Anyone cares? Nobody cares.
No Jews, no news.
Over 700 Druze slaughtered by Syrian Islamists in just few days.
But the world is silent. Western people / organizations who consider themselves Middle East experts, now don't say a word.
If they can't blame the Jews, everything becomes complicated and irrelevant for them.
Former hostage Maya Regev explains how she was tortured by Hamas:
"He used to take chlorine and pour it inside the wound and press it. One day he took a knife and started to cut around it. I begged him to stop because I'm in pain, and I'm not allowed to scream. He didn't stop."
🧵GAZA FATALITY UPDATE: Hamas released a new fatality list on July 15, with 58,000 deaths. It reveals:
➡️Combat-age deaths are 73% male → 18,600 excess
➡️Teens 13-17: 66% male; confirms child combatants
➡️Data contradicts claims of indiscriminate attacks
Free Palestine “activists” in Sweden thought it was a good idea to protest the war in Gaza by hanging mannequins dressed as Holocaust victims.
The Holocaust is not a weapon for you to hijack, distort, or weaponize against Jews.
There are so many ways to criticize the Israeli government without dehumanizing Jews or invoking antisemitism.
The fact that the Free Palestine movement keeps using antisemitism to “fight for justice” tells us what this is really all about.
