The Forum for Social Concern requests the Government of Telangana with folded hands to ensure that every decision concerning education and students—from KG to PG—is guided by two fundamental principles: a Student-Centric approach and a System-Centric vision.
It would be inappropriate to assume that every representation or demand made in the name of students genuinely originates from students themselves. In reality, there are very few independent platforms that consistently and selflessly represent the interests of students studying in government educational institutions. Consequently, there is always a possibility that certain individuals or groups may project their own concerns as student issues and attempt to speak on behalf of students without truly reflecting their needs.
Therefore, before arriving at any policy or administrative decision, the Government is earnestly requested to undertake a comprehensive examination of the issue, including its background, factual realities, long-term implications for students, indirect consequences on learning outcomes, and its potential impact on the future of the public education system.
The Forum for Social Concern (@FFSC2004) humbly appeals to the Government to place student welfare, quality education, equity, and the strengthening of public education at the heart of every decision-making process. While stakeholder concerns deserve consideration, the larger objective must remain the holistic development of students and the long-term sustainability of the education system.
A strong society is built upon strong educational foundations. Decisions that prioritize the interests of students, uphold academic excellence, and reinforce public education will not only benefit the present generation but will also shape a more equitable, enlightened, and prosperous future for Telangana.

TGSRTC Extends Support to Families of Employees Who Died in Road Accidents with Assistance from Union Bank
₹1 Crore Financial Assistance to Each Family Through Free Accident Insurance
Employee Welfare Being Strengthened Under the Leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy
Reflecting the Telangana Government’s commitment towards employee welfare under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri A. @revanth_anumula , TGSRTC, in association with Union Bank of India (UBI), extended financial assistance to the families of employees who lost their lives in tragic road accidents.
As part of the employee welfare initiatives being encouraged by the State Government, the UBI Super Salary Savings Account has become a major support system for RTC employees and their families during emergencies.
Drivers Sudhakar from Picket Depot and Srinivas Reddy from Pargi Depot lost their lives in separate road accidents, leaving their families in deep distress after losing the sole breadwinners of their households.
During this difficult time, the Union Bank Super Salary Savings Account proved highly beneficial to the affected families. Since the employees held Super Salary Savings Accounts with Union Bank of India, they became eligible for free accident insurance coverage linked to the account.
Under this initiative, @TGSRTCHQ employees opened designated salary accounts in Union Bank branches and obtained RuPay cards, enabling them to avail accident insurance benefits. In the event of accidental death, the scheme provides ₹1 crore financial assistance to the employee’s family.
Accordingly, cheques worth ₹1 crore each were handed over to the families of the two deceased employees during a programme held at Bus Bhavan on Monday. The cheques were jointly presented by TGSRTC VC & MD Shri Y. Nagi Reddy, Union Bank of India Chief General Manager Shri M. Ravindra Babu and Regional Head Shri D. Venkateswarlu.
Speaking on the occasion, TGSRTC VC & MD Y. Nagi Reddy expressed deep sorrow over the untimely deaths of the two drivers. He said the organization remains firmly committed to the welfare and security of its employees and their families.
He stated that under the guidance of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the government is focusing on strengthening employee welfare systems and ensuring social and financial security for workers and their dependents.
The MD noted that welfare schemes such as the free accident insurance facility become invaluable during times of crisis and urged employees to make full use of such beneficial initiatives without negligence.
He also thanked Union Bank of India for partnering with TGSRTC in supporting employees and standing by the families during difficult times.
ED Shri CH Venkanna, Finance Advisor Smt. Vijayapushpa, CPM Smt. Ushadevi and Union Bank officials participated in the programme.

A Call for Transparency and Integrity in Recognition Systems
The recent apprehension of a Mandal Educational Officer (MEO), notably a multiple-time recipient of the Best Teacher award, by the Anti-Corruption Bureau has understandably raised serious concerns regarding the credibility and transparency of the selection processes associated with professional recognition.
Such incidents inevitably prompt a broader reflection; are our systems of recognition and advancement sufficiently robust, impartial, and accountable? When individuals of distinction are found to be engaged in misconduct, it not only diminishes the value of such honours but also undermines the morale of genuinely deserving educators.
A particularly troubling instance further accentuates this concern; the selection of a teacher, against whom departmental disciplinary proceedings were pending, for an international exposure programme. Even more disheartening is the reported inaction of district authorities in Karimnagar, despite these facts being formally brought to their notice. Such administrative indifference raises questions about procedural diligence and institutional responsibility.
An Appeal to Uphold Standards
It is imperative that mechanisms governing awards, deputations, and professional opportunities are guided by principles of integrity, transparency, and due diligence. Recognition must be a reflection of merit, character, and professional ethics; not merely procedural formality.
We appeal to all stakeholders; administrators, educators, and oversight bodies alike; to ensure that systems of evaluation and selection are fair, vigilant, and uncompromising in their standards. Only through such collective responsibility can we safeguard the honour and credibility of the teaching profession.
Let us reaffirm our commitment to ethical excellence, ensuring that recognition remains a true testament to integrity and service.

Not Just Surrender… They Must Be Suspended.
The Forum for Social Concern (FFSC) unequivocally demands that the State Government initiate swift, stringent, and exemplary action under the provisions of the Prevention of Malpractice Act against invigilators who blatantly abet mass copying and against center staff who actively collude in this academic betrayal. Such disgraceful conduct is nothing short of a gross abuse of duty, a betrayal of public trust, and a direct assault on meritocracy.
These delinquent teachers, who have willfully compromised the sanctity of examinations, have trampled upon the aspirations of sincere and hardworking students—students who have invested relentless effort, endured hardships, and upheld academic integrity throughout the year. Shielding or trivializing such misconduct would only embolden further decay in the system.
The FFSC therefore asserts, in the strongest possible terms, that mere surrender or token action is wholly inadequate. The guilty must face immediate suspension, rigorous departmental proceedings, and decisive punitive action to serve as a deterrent example.
The Government must act with zero tolerance and uncompromising resolve to restore credibility to the examination system and to ensure that such reprehensible incidents never recur under any circumstances.
