➡️ Patient Summary
We studied patients with bladder cancer who underwent bladder MRI after TURBT, performed for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. We found that both the timing of MRI and image quality significantly affect the accuracy of detecting muscle invasion. A tailored MRI interpretation approach may help improve staging in this setting.

Artificial intelligence-assisted reading of non-contrast prostate MRI: application and concordance with expert interpretation in a screening population within the PROSA trial
https://t.co/JZD19wMXFW
This retrospective PROSA-trial study evaluated AI-assisted bi-parametric MRI (bpMRI) for clinically significant #ProstateCancer screening in 499 men. Diagnostic performance of an expert, a less-experienced reader, AI alone, and AI-supported reading was compared.
AI assistance yielded the highest accuracy (AUC 0.969), improved inter-reader agreement (κ 0.84), reduced equivocal cases, and enhanced concordance with expert interpretation, supporting AI integration to improve consistency and efficiency in high-volume screening settings.

#Didyouknow our body 'eats' itself to stay healthy? Our cells break down and recycle their own contents in a process called autophagy. In the 90s, Yoshinori Ohsumi discovered how autophagy worked, helping us understand how it protects our body against disease.
