Tell me about it! When my husband was in hospital last year, our insurers, the so called Animal Friends (who strangely don't seem to have a twitter handle) demanded his power of attorney before I could make a claim, and then found a way to pay only a fraction of it.
On Thursday 22 June at 6.30pm - 8.30pm Peer opens ‘we are a group of people composed of who we are’, an exhibition that traces artistic, cultural and social collective work that took place in Hackney between 1971 and 1986. All welcome!
As a celebrant @Ceremonies_UK I love doing renewals, particularly as our own, in our back garden, was such fun - here's what must have been a particularly silly moment while our lovely daughters were reading.
Say ‘I do’ all over again.
Vow renewals are a wonderful way to celebrate or re-affirm your relationship.
Your Humanist Ceremonies celebrant can help you find the perfect way to mark a special anniversary with family and friends.
Today is Carers Week, a time to offer support to carers in the community, and to recognise the role. I have just started to offer a 10% discount on the ceremonies which I conduct @Ceremonies_UK for anyone with an East Sussex Care for the Carers card - see https://t.co/R8p0dJAvyw
This week is Carers Week.
Thank you to the carers all over the world. Don’t forget to care for yourself when you are caring for others.
You need help and support too.

🔴 A former Archbishop of Canterbury has called on the government to set aside time for debate on a law to allow assisted dying, saying it is “profoundly Christian” to ensure no-one suffers against their will https://t.co/ynMT9B3ET0
For some, there is a fate worse than death, and it involves suffering incurably and intolerably for far longer than you would ever wish to endure. This law is not fit for purpose, and it must change. #AssistedDying 📷Norman Lucus with his wife before they suffered bad deaths.
We're delighted to tell you that on Friday, humanists won a major High Court victory on the question of whether councils can discriminate against humanists on local RE bodies
The judgment was crystal clear: discrimination against humanists is unlawful
