South Africans have surprised the white super father who eliminated criminals who wanted to hijack his car
R180 000 donated to the father who fought off vehicle hijackers, eliminating all (allegedly) of them in front of his kids
South Africans have united to support 53 year old Sidney Hill after he was involved in a shootout with suspects during an attempted hijacking outside his home in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal.
Hill was exiting his home gate with his young daughter when armed men, who allegedly blocked him at the gate using his Toyota Hilux, opened fire.
He returned fire in self-defense, resulting in the death of one of the suspects.
Following the incident, a fundraising campaign was launched on BackaBuddy to assist him with legal expenses and to provide psychological trauma counseling for his children.
It is reported that the campaign has already raised R180 000, as South Africans have come forward in large numbers to support the father and his family after this ordeal.
@SizweDhlomo Got mine for 700 16yrs ago it also trasfares to a step ladder so I use it more for the ladder than ironing as im 1.52m short. I use the bed.
@MbalulaFikile You can give us the fuel for free, im not going to vote for useless ANC government that is selling our country to the Pakistanis and Bangladesh
Every country Palestinians sought refuge in to escape alleged Israeli oppression ended in civil war.
Like Lebanon. A wealthy, Westernised Christian nation: 126k dead, 1 million displaced, out of a population of just 4.6 million.
Beirut used to be called the Paris of the Middle East
The symbolism is scary.
Are we going to see Toyotas with machine gun turrets in Paris? Isis are pretty much already there. Where's the French army? The Foreign Legion?
This is evil.
I've been quiet on Twitter.
Goeie genade... loads going on.
I posted a video on Facebook and TikTok last week and it's now got 1.1 million views (in just a couple of days).
I was stuck in traffic, bumper to bumper, and my dashcam caught a guy robbing someone at gunpoint in front of me. I hooted. Tried to make a noise. Thought about driving him over (even though the curb would never have allowed it). And then realised he could have come to me next. With his big gun. Reminded me of when I nearly got hijacked and I landed up in hospital. Had a little PTSD attack. And then it was all over.
I shared the video to try to inspire people to be a little more vigilant in traffic.
And it did.
The video got mal traction. And over 3,000 comments from people sharing their own crime-trauma.
Around 15 of those comments were kak. Randos telling me how bad my hair is, how I should have been “more of a man”, how crying is for "bitches" and how I should have done something instead of filming.
I sometimes hate the internet.
Anyway, a couple of days later... my mom rang the bell! She is officially in recovery!!!! My mommy is cancer-free!!!
I’m going to post both videos on my feed (here). If you have the attention span of a doorknob, can’t sit through a full video, or choose to leave me a kak comment, I am going to reply with this post.
I say this with kindness. But I am also tired of kak humans whose default setting is mean.
I'm back on Twitter. Or X. Or the Elon-Machine. Whatever you call it... I'm here. Howzit.
✌🏼❤️
So this happened this week… welcome to my TED Talk.
Not sure why I called him a “gent”… he’s not a gentleman. He’s a thief. A robber. Jammer.
Also, I forgot to add… get a dashcam. It’s not great quality but if we all had one, maybe then it would all be a bit more of a deterrent to robbers.
Stay safe South Africa.
Okay. Love you. Bye.
@BrentLindeque I had the very same experience on Wittkoppen. PTSD as soon as someone come close to my car ad shake uncontrollably. But hey @GovernmentZA doesn't care.
