@Red_draws_ The difficulty selection is weird and unintuitive. "Climbing a mountain" is normal, "going for a hike" is easy, and "going for a walk" is very easy. Dying can mean losing significant progress, so don't feel bad about picking easy for your first playthrough.
@TylerGlaiel Related, but can you add HDR support? Even if the implementation looks identical to SDR, my monitor freaks out a little when I open the game and also when I alt-tab in or out of it since I normally have HDR on.
@jakkuh_t Nobara is really nice because it has out of the box tweaks for gaming and software like DaVinci Resolve. It's built on Fedora by Glorious Eggroll, who works at Red Hat and contributes to Proton and maintains Proton-GE, a bleeding-edge fork of Proton.
@wielku@DaveOshry When they're in stock, yes. And although it's less powerful and has lower game compatibility (mostly due to anti-cheat in certain multiplayer games), it does have the advantage that it will never ask you if you want to use Copilot.
@SandwichesJill@HorrorsSurvival Looking at the criteria defined below each list, Silent Hill definitely fits the bill for survival horror. A game can be both psychological and survival horror. As for Dead Space 1&2, those games give you enough ammo to kill almost every enemy you encounter, especially 2.
@Dexerto hopefully this gets activision to get their shit together and fix the vulnerabilities affecting all the old cods that they're still selling on steam. valve should probably pull them from sale considering how dangerous they are to play online.
