@CYSS_Catalight @overleaf Raw LaTeX/Overleaf is great for programmers. Google Docs can be a good solution for others if having control over content and output formats and templayes aren't concerns. Fidus Writer is for the non-techie academic who needs that extra bit of control.

@aszen_one @mblaszczynska @omeka True, although that may be more imagined than real. If US or EU forces Google to split up, then how will they finance free Google Docs for everyone forever? Development of Fidus Writer (8.5 yrs) has continued during periods with and without funding, at some personal cost.
