We’re growing our next generation of teachers with the help of the Future Teachers Club at Macquarie @fields_high. I met some of our students who are in the club today while they were teaching at Macquarie Fields PS. Outstanding partnership between the two neighbouring schools!
Last term #FirstNations students & Yr 11 & 12 Aboriginal Studies students at @fields_high planned & designed a cultural space near the entrance to the school - #yarningcircle is in place & today stage 2 was completed with weaving plants going in 💚🌱
Our Year 12 Aboriginal Studies class have been working with the crew from the Royal Botanic Gardens to develop an exciting new space at MFHS. We can’t wait to see our completed Yarning Circle.
