A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Jefferson, Lewis, and Oswego counties. Narrow bands of lake effect snow will result in localized accumulations greater than 4" through tomorrow evening. If traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities.

Allentown's "Bubble Man" Chuck Incorvaia passed away last night at 75.

While much of WNY and NCNY could experience icy mixed pcpn tonight and Sunday, a more impactful weather event is set for Sunday night into Monday night. Significant lake snows are forecast to bury parts of the Ern Lake Ontario region, where up to 2 FEET of snow is expected.
Warmer air moving north will generate a mix of wintry precipitation tonight and Sunday. Areas of freezing rain over the western Southern Tier and Finger Lakes region after 1 AM will change to rain, while freezing rain, sleet and snow will be possible Sunday east of Lake Ontario.
