I love this for us. I have said before Kenyan and SA babes really embrace their natural hair. From locs to walking around in cornrows comfortablyโฆrarely wear makeup on a daily basis. Itโs beautiful to see..
I visit a lot of universities and worry that many of the new AI policies will fail because they are written as threats or as wishes. They speak in absolutes that cannot be enforced. They promise punishment without building the mechanisms of verification. They rely on detection tools that will keep changing and often fail quietly.
I think that better policies must name expectations and tie them to ordinary assessment practices.
The question that now confronts university teaching did not begin with artificial intelligence. AI merely made it impossible to keep postponing it.
I am not convinced that the problem with universities now is that students are beginning to rely on AI. Students have always used tools to reduce effort, and institutions have always tolerated this so long as learning appeared to occur. I see the problem more as this: these AI tools now make it possible to produce somewhat academically acceptable work without passing through the experiences that once made that work meaningful.
Universities have responded to this rupture largely by misdiagnosing it. Much of the current debate frames AI as a threat to academic integrity, as though the primary issue were misconduct.
AI forces a reckoning with a question universities have avoided because it was inconvenient to answer honestly: what exactly do we mean when we say that a student has learned something? Do we mean that they can reproduce information (which is what many academics do, even those with PhDs)? That they can synthesize existing material into plausible form? That they can write in a recognizable academic register? Or do we mean something more demanding: that they can judge relevance, weigh evidence, define terms, recognize uncertainty, and take responsibility for the claims they advance?
Anyway, this is what I am thinking of, and will write about next week, hopefully.
Iโve always kept my distance from tribal issues because they tend to bring more heat than understanding.
But lately, I canโt help but wonder; Why do Yorubas have a penchant for always publicly criticizing their own people more than any other tribe in Nigeria?
Other tribes may have their internal issues, but they rarely air them so openly.
Meanwhile, Yorubas; who are often among the most accommodating, even marrying outside their tribe more than most; seem to be the first to drag their own.
Any small thing, you don tag yoruba this, yoruba that and a yoruba would be at the forefront fanning the dragging ๐
@toyofashola please, is there an award somewhere?
I love sex and Iโm unashamed about it. Hence why I donโt have sex with just anyone, because it takes the fun and pleasure away if I do it with someone Iโm not attracted to. Iโm willing to wait months without sex if I donโt find anyone attractive enough to get down with
@MistuRants Great to see people who value themselves. I got to a point in my life where I don't need no advice or a seconder to tell me to take my peace of mind and mental health serious. Once I've confirmed a pattern of toxicity and unhealthiness. I take flight. Mo precious gan! As in, GAN!
No longer ashamed to admit that I want to be partnered and I want love. I want someone to hold the softer parts of me and be kind and gentle with my heart. I want to be cared for and care for someone. Speaking it into existence. ๐โจ
Doesn't anybody want to be *human* anymore. Everything is about personal branding, being an expert, positioning, thought leadership. So exhausting and boring.
My heart is shredded in pieces.๐ That such a young innocent looking man is capable of such level of EVIL shatters my heart&scares the shit outta me!!!
How??? We're finished!!! Every corner, every walk is now a death move. Everybody in Nigeria is now a potential murderer??? Ha!
Too many youths depressed and committing suicide because they want to be rich and famous early, pressuring yourself because if youโre not a success early youโre not a success at all! Be patient! Not everybody with money is HAPPY!
I swear I just wanna love one girl and move on. I donโt wanna fuck around with too many girls, violating my energy and breeding disrespect because of sex, This dick is GOLDEN how bout that!
@BigDaddyonair Yeah. I choose to respect those because: (i) they're literally my ancestral heritage, rooted in my ethnic DNA, unlike the imported Abrahamic religions; (ii) they're non-missionary/ imposing and they have room for other beliefs; and (iii) it's much more fun for me. ๐
NURTW doesn't provide any valuable service to Lagos State. They don't build bus stops, ensure road safety or remit funds to the govt. Instead they extort drivers, fight, litter bus parks and contribute to reckless driving by chasing buses and bikers.
Why do they still exist?
