Ukrainians know the true happiness of being at home and safe. I'm glad that @ceciliasala has been released from an Iranian prison, that she is well, and has already returned to her journalistic work.
Her first interview after being released was done in Ukraine. Thank you for our meeting, for your continued interest in Ukraine, in our fight for independence, and a safe home for all Ukrainian families. Thank you, Italy, for all your support.
Watch the full interview on Monday, January 27.
1. Fa un solo post al rientro
3. Una sola intervista in tv
My ex-colleague said: All Ukrainians come to Germany for rich men or to be prostitutes.
Me: How many Ukrainians like that do you know?
Her: None, but I knew one russian… everyone knows it.
Me: Stop pushing Russian stereotypes on us. Ukrainians are not Russians.
Her: But how do you know the stereotype is wrong?
Me: Statistic. Germany actually has a higher percentage of prostitutes than Ukraine (80th place), while russia are on the 2nd place. Plus look around. For example you know few Ukrainians in this institute. I came to study, work and met my boyfriend - not rich or privileged, just someone I love.
Stop spreading harmful stereotypes. Ukrainian women are strong and independent, we AREN‘T Russians🤡
“Vendo 200 aprile a 142”. Ora potete fare bella figura a tavola.
It is worth noting that after their meeting in Moscow, Fico and Putin did not issue joint statements or respond to media questions. They simply cannot say publicly anything about what they discussed in the meeting. They are afraid of the public's reaction.
Moscow provides significant discounts to Fico, but Slovakia pays for them. Such discounts are not free—payments to Russia are made through sovereignty or murky schemes. This should be a matter of concern for Slovakia's law enforcement and special services.
Details about such financing were revealed during a recent meeting of European leaders in Brussels. Leaders observed that Mr. Fico does not want to participate in the common European work on energy independence or seek replacement for Russian gas, but rather wants to assist Russia in pushing American gas and energy resources of other partners away from Europe, implying that he wants to help Putin earn money to fund the war and weaken Europe.
We are losing people as a result of the war that Putin started, and we believe that such assistance to Putin is immoral.
Mr. Fico even refused compensations to ease the transition period and get rid of dependence, meaning it is not a security issue for him. He is interested specifically in the Russian gas and the matter’s worth is 500 million U.S. dollars per year. Other profits come from the oil pipe that runs through the Ukrainian territory and gives another 500 million U.S. dollars per year, which helps Mr. Fico.
That is why his key goal is to deal with Russia, and this is what benefits him. This is indeed a big security issue — both for Slovakia and the entire Europe. Why is this leader so dependent on Moscow? What is being paid to him, and what does he pay with?
@AukeHoekstra@HeNRGi@AukeHoekstra I also do reviews quite regularly and I spend sometimes tens of hours to do them. But, as it has happened recently, I often see other reviewers just giving a glance, random comments, and ready... or suggesting their own papers to be cited (even worse).
