I told the Kohl's @Sephora manager, Lupe, about the Dec/Jan situation. She asked for my account number/email/phone number. This was off-putting because normally it's a quick exchange because the reps are aware of the gift shortage in Dec.
Last year was no different. It's happened at the standalone store, when @Sephora was in JCP, and now since it's in Kohl's. Imagine my surprise when I returned to redeem my birthday gift in January at the Kohl's Sephora and was refused.
I've loved being a @Sephora, but last year was my first time as a Rouge Member! I've enjoyed my regular purchases, but I always return even at my big age to redeem my free birthday gift. With a Dec. bday, the store is always out of the gifts, and they tell me to return in Jan.
