@MetropolixIO Exactly π somehow owning the domain makes the whole idea feel ten times more serious. Never mind that thereβs absolutely nothing behind it yet.
Appreciate the follow.. happy to connect..!
There's a special kind of optimism in buying a domain for a product that currently exists as a paragraph in the notes.
The checkout is usually the easiest part.
Lazy Saturday over here.. π
Netflix, snacks and absolutely no plans to be productive.
Well almost no plans.. got a few agents working on my projects in the background, so Iβm occasionally checking in to see what they are up to and making sure they havenβt gone completely off the rails.
Apparently this is what a day off looks now π«£
What about you? Whatβs everyone up to this Saturday?
@trybitgrain That's actually a really good point..! I hadn't thought about it from the badge angle yet.
Maintainers who already care about test coverage and repo quality would probably a good audience to start with.
Definitely something worth exploring.. thanks for the idea!
Solo founder from Germany here ππ»
Would love to connect with other founders, builders and people who enjoy turning ideas into actual products.
I am currently working on an accountability app, a tool for GitHub maintainers and my own self-hosted WorkOS to keep everything under control π
Trying to share more of the journey here instead of just disappearing into my projects for weeks.
What are you working on these days?
@KI_Vater Ah nice, I'm actually using Tailscale for parts of my setup too.. makes accessing self-hosted stuff remotely so much easier and secure.
Haven't looked into Hermes much yet.. but now you've got me curious. Going to check it out!
@iam_abelademola Not at the moment but thanks for asking. π If someone comes up who could use your services I'll gladly point them your way. πͺπ»
The "very solo founder move" part is painfully accurate.. π
And I think you might be right about RepoPolicyScore. That's actually the direction I'm exploring right now, finding out what maintainers would genuinely find valuable enough to pay for.
Building the tools is one thing.. Finding the people who need them is a whole different challenge.. π
Haha.. the free time thing is painfully accurate π And I know exactly what you mean about forgetting to share stuff.. By the time I remember I am usually already knee-deep in the next project..π«£
Cobalt Cockpit Sounds pretty interesting..! I'm building my own Work OS to manage projects and coordinate AI agents.. so lots we're playing around with some similar ideas.
As for RepoPolicyScore, it came from a problem I kept running into myself.. AI agents are getting really good at writing code but when it comes to working in an existing repo, they often have no idea about the projects conventions or how contributions should be handled.
So I built a tool that scans public GitHub repos and checks their documentation and contribution guidelines for gaps. It gives you a score and points out what and how it could be improved.
Still figuring out what maintainers actually find useful, which is why feedback is so valuable right now.
If you're curious and time permits, give it a spin at https://t.co/lYo8cxPncd
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially if it gets something wrong. π
@DDeovil Hey ππ» Happy to connect. Always nice meeting new people here.. what are you working on these days?
I am currently building xoobz an accountability app and RepoPolicyScore.. a tool that checks GitHub repos for ai assisted development readiness.
@tecstoic Hey π happy to connect..!
Iβm working on a couple of SaaS Projects myself. Always interesting to see what others are buildings what are you working on these days?
Happy to connect..! Thatβs exactly what Iβm trying to figure out with RepoPolicyScore. Rather than just hearing that the tool is useful, Iβd love to know where it gets things wrong or misses something important.
And now youβve got me curious about your stealth project π₯· Guess I have to wait until you are ready to share more.. π
@master_jpma Hey.. thanks for the follow.. happy to connect..!
Vendilia sounds interesting..! Iβm experimenting with AI agents myself, so Iβm always curious to see how others put them to work.
What kind of tasks are your agents handling on the e-commerce side?
