We need all men to begin interrogating themselves and unlearning patriarchy just as much as we do white people unlearning white supremacy. Where are these men who get it?! I need one stat #feminism#womanism#antiracism
Looking for some fellas who are down to read โFeminism is For Everybodyโ with me and have discussions surrounding the reading.
If youโre interested, DM me.
@SpiritedSparr0w What a judgmental take. I'm the sole provider for my disabled mom(who sees 4 different docs) & I'd be SOL w/o EBT. I don't eat meat, but once in a while I like to treat myself to sweets. Being poor doesn't mean you shouldn't ever get to indulge - *newsflash* we're humans too.
@manueladifiglia That makes so much sense! Free yourself in all dimensions โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธโฉ๏ธโช๏ธโฌ๏ธโฌ๏ธ you made me realize I need to take my sexy time more seriously โ๐ฝ #2021Vagenda#BacktotheBody
@TheNapMinistry Tbh pulling a disappearing act in the age of hyper-visibility is a flex. It's important to not feel "beholden" to these apps and remind yourself, you belong to you.
OOH yes we def need this cause if you think about it typical inequities of emotional labor in cis- het- romantic partnerships means it'd take like a ratio of 5 men to one woman to adequately be able to satisfy emotional/spiritual etc. needs. Soo. Makes sense to me ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ #womanism
I donโt believe in cheating and deceit, but I was wondering why women donโt be having two or more families all over town, the way men have done for centuries. We really have been living beneath our potential. Getting very little love, care and attention. Focused on one ashy man.
I found out my uncle does these frequent live streams where he sets up a little iPad karaoke station with a mic and sings his heart out and honestly that's the kind of wholesome recklessness I aim to embody when I'm older. #shenanigans#Filipino#Filipinx#Pinoy#Pinay#karaoke
I know this b/c I have been that person. Sometimes all you can do is be there for them. You just have to let them figure it out b/c all they can see/have space for is their pain/trauma, & they have not grown enough(yet) to hold space for healing and accountability. #LookInward
Caring for someone who has only intellectually addressed their hurt and pain is very difficult.
They can often name the thing and even use the language, but they havenโt actually done the work.
These people present as safe, but end up hurting the ones the care about the most.
@Maryamhasnaa I had this convo with an ex once. I said my feelings were waning, but I was still all in & wanted us both to work to revive the connection. I ended it b/c he said he was too busy with other things to prioritize working on that. And so I learned: Love is a choice, not a verb.
