Happy to finally cancel my 30 year run with #Adobe programs. Loved adobe and AI/PS in the 90s and been a pro user and reluctant sub of CC since that was forced down our throats. The recent BS with #GenAI and scanning/using our content was the last drop. Moving to Affinity & OSS.
Remember the GenAI game plan. To go fast, spin tales of progress, and to quickly normalize the exploitation of artists and people, before the laws and regulations catch up.
Don’t fall for it. Keep your eyes on the road ahead. Their business is a house of cards. Don’t forget it!
Ai users responding to my post below: no one engages in the “its inspired like you” rhetoric! We all know how it works!
Meta’s Chief AI Scientist/AI Godfather: fully, deeply, intensely engages in the rhetoric. Anthropomorphizing the tech to excuse real world harms.
First I tried to write a swift app for iPhone tracking gym workouts. gpt4 gave me a great start that actually compiled, but when adding features, gpt forgot context and started hallucinating, leaving a total mess. In the end it would have been easier to do manually. 2/2
Voice actors are now being pressured to sign away “Voice rights” for Ai. Do you see how far they are going to squash and completely remove the soul from creativity? Artists/actors/musicians, lawyer up and include no Ai clauses in contracts NOW

In the age of AI, anything related to abstract/conceptual creation will be devalued. Texts, images, video will be basically without value. White collar jobs will plummet and physical labour the only thing human are left to do?
@eyes_of_lamia I have had very nice conversations with it on subjects I only have a cursory understanding of. In those cases it is so easy to be fooled. Will it ever be possible to trust ai? I don’t think so.
Having a computer do artistic explorations in the background while i'm doing chores... that's unexpected. i was hoping the future would be the other way around.
These AI models would be able to generate NOTHING without the labor of millions of artists, writers, and photographers. The images these models were trained on have COPYRIGHT. Stable Diffusion is valued at $550 million dollars completely off the backs of unpaid labor.
