@DWLundberg I’ve always thought that Speilberg’s “worst” films were the ones that didn’t feel like he had directed it. I know it’s there, but I think that’s why I don’t like Always as much.
Greta Gerwig was told to cut this scene from BARBIE (2023). She refused.
“To me, this is the heart of the movie. If I cut it, I don’t know why I’m making this film.”
Dear writers, we need your imagination, your narrative creativity and your lively thinking. We need these to create spaces of freedom and authenticity, within which divine grace can make the promise of consolation and peace resound. https://t.co/FEmCrdQ392
This is cowardly to a degree I don't think I've ever seen from a head of baseball ops. Clearly out of his depth. Clearly not meant for the job. Props to every single journalist who pressed him and the organization on this. Not sure how much longer Posey should be running this org
OPINION: The response by the San Francisco Giants’ leadership to the Pride Night fiasco has led me and many others to reevaluate our loyalty to the hometown team. https://t.co/6LlUZjmjhR
Buster Posey opened his media availability with a prepared statement on the Pride Night controversy, then proceeded to decline to answer further questions on the topic, stating he will only answer "baseball related questions."

Ryan Walker and JT Brubaker revisited their decision to write bible verses on their hats during Pride Night at Oracle Park last week, as their protest continues to draw national attention.
Ryan Walker and J.T. Brubaker speak to @capostsports about the reaction sparked by their actions on #SFGiants Pride night.
“Lots of ‘bigot’ comments.”
“We felt there wasn’t going to be as much kickback on it.”

“Lead actors of color declined from 2024’s all-time high of 51 percent to 36 percent in 2025 — from a majority to nearly a third.”
🤧
“Just 25.8 percent of streaming films’ casts were people of color, down from 41 percent.”
I kinda dig the reaction compilation videos on YouTube. I love showing my favorite movies to friends partially to see their reactions.
What I didn’t like is some of the people creating these compilations feeling the need to explain the scene we just watched 🤦🏽
