The Kremlin’s cognitive warfare is evolving. Leaked documents from Russia’s Social Design Agency reveal efforts to move beyond planting fabricated stories on social media. Now Russian influence operators are trying to create Wikipedia clones and fake think tanks to shape the information powering search engines and AI chatbots. https://t.co/R1NqMxyJjr
Trump was "hugely impressed and enthusiastic" about Ukraine's long-range strikes inside Russia at last week's G7 summit, said people briefed on the leaders' discussions. Trump also agreed to increase sanctions on Russian energy.

"Because of Ukraine’s circumstances, Zelenskyy speaks to a larger audience than any other leader, barring one. Trump is no friend of the “west”. Zelenskyy, on the other hand, is uniquely reminding the west of itself." My column. https://t.co/MpDfkuq5g4
Nee nee nee.
Zorg voor airco’s in de toekomst waar het moet (rusthuizen, ziekenhuizen, designated afkoel ruimtes voor mijn part).

What is happening around Belarus and Lukashenko?
In short, Putin uses Belarusian territory primarily for logistical purposes in the war against Ukraine. Belarus serves as Russia's logistical and rear hub, as well as a platform for exerting pressure on Western countries, including through nuclear blackmail. Lukashenko is not independent and remains dependent on Russia.
The President of Ukraine is therefore fully justified in demanding that Lukashenko stop providing technical and logistical support to the Russian army. This includes removing Russian repeaters and halting fuel supplies to Russian forces.
Lukashenko tried to appeal to Putin but essentially received a refusal and advice to deal with the issue himself. As Peskov put it, "We have no doubt that the leadership of Belarus and Belarus itself are capable of ensuring their sovereignty."
Putin currently lacks both the resources and the capabilities to open a second front in Belarus.
Moreover, Belarus itself does not want escalation and fears the arrival of Russian troops more than Ukrainian drones.

"Che Guevara also helped establish the first Cuban concentration camp in Guanahacabibes in 1960. This camp was the first of many. From the Nazis, the Cuban government also adapted the motto at Auschwitz, “Work sets you free,” changing it to “Work will make you men.”

China is totalitarian, not just authoritarian, because the Chinese Communist Party seeks to control all elements of society, even if certain types of decisions are delegated to local Party cadres. https://t.co/Okebh5rwy5
Kasparov: Russians interfered massively in 2016. Celebrated his arrival in the Oval Office.
When he won the second time, Putin was silent — but next day, Russian state TV aired compromising early photos of Melania at 9 PM. A message to Donnie: we may have others. 4X
Kasparov on Trump's 1987 Moscow trip, KGB absolutely tried to recruit him. For the KGB not to pay attention to an American billionaire with extravagant tastes arriving in Moscow?
They tried. Upon return, Trump invested $100,000 in articles calling for the end of NATO. 2/
Kasparov: Trump can criticize Xi Jinping, dismiss Kim Jong-un, push Erdogan aside.
He has never said one negative word about Putin. Never done a single thing that could hurt him. The question is not what Trump sees in Putin. The question is what Putin has on Trump. 1/
COVID-19 may occasionally leave behind more than fatigue and brain fog—it can trigger striking focal neurological syndromes.
➡️ Researchers describe a woman who developed painful tonic spasms—sudden, severe, involuntary posturing attacks—just two weeks after COVID-19. MRI revealed a solitary inflammatory lesion in the right cerebral peduncle, a key motor pathway in the brainstem. 1/
Russia started plundering Mariupol, the largest Ukrainian city it has captured and still holds, while it was still burning. The process is leaving a massive paper trail. I spent a year poring over every occupation order and court ruling. This is the result https://t.co/bI8cQ7ebZ0
Two of the most important biomedical breakthroughs came from science of the Gila lizard venom (GLP-1s) and yogurt (CRISPR genome editing).
"The system that turned that lizard into a medicine is now being dismantled."
"Less support for scientists means strange questions no one will get to chase."
