Today is the 60th anniversary of Harold Wilson becoming Prime Minister for the first time and the day I was born. What a great day for us both!

I wouldn't go to the opening of an envelope, but the official opening of the new lift at Hind House was cause for celebration. Combined with bouncy castles, snacks and Jerk Chicken. I love that we have so many events to meet with neighbours celebrate the Islington community

I loved being @EH_Highbury community party last night. Well over 100 people gathered for food, conversation and music. I can't praise the staff and volunteers enough for the amazing work they do to ensure we have a community where everyone is welcomed, valued and cared about.

So true. As a palliative care doctor I now find myself routinely having to have end-of-life conversations with elderly patients on trolleys in corridors. It’s unimaginably undignified & wrong,
