@FMwenge Other than the barrier to entry in Politics which also greatly affects the common well meaning Zambian, for me it's the desire to plough back those funds once in government at the detriment of development that benefits the multitudes. It's a shame!
A study by Transparency International Zambia, TIZ reveals that MPs spent an average of K3.8 million or US$192,266 to win the 2021 elections. Expenditure was made at pre-adoption, adoption & nomination, campaigns & post-elections.

@SimumbaTrevor Spot on. I recall a post I wrote to @HHichilema, whilst your intentions are pure, you cannot run a country alone. I was ever so anxious to see how his Cabinet would look like before my vote. Sadly not everyone has shared into the vision and it's now becoming very evident.
