Super excited for this momentโitโs finally out! Huge congratulations to everyone involved in this incredible study. Iโve seen firsthand the dedication and hard work @slfwlr put into making this happen. Truly honored to be a part of it!
Tethering of pathological #tau filaments within defined brain extracellular vesicles in #Alzheimer's disease, identified using electron cryo-tomography (cryo-ET) and proteomics

4/6 We extended our analysis by performing multiplexed in situ hybridization using the @CARTANAbio .
We modeled the spatial distribution of 155 genes and their associations with the pathology. #neuroscience#science#Alzheimers#CARTANA
5/6 With spatial analysis we not only replicated key findings from our TC snRNA data, but also identified a set of cell type-specific genes that show selective enrichment or depletion near pathological inclusions. #neuroscience#science#Alzheimers#CARTANA#TemporalCortex
3/6 We also integrated TC data with other datasets spanning various brain regions and noted consistency of some significant AD pathology trait associations across multiple brain regions. #neuroscience#science#Alzheimers#BrainResearch
2/6 Certain neuronal subtypes exhibited elevated proportions in the gray matter during late Braak stages. Despite the sparsity of neuronal nuclei in white matter, we noted significant differences in this region as well. We also identified multiple altered glial subgroups in AD.
1/6 We delved into cellular heterogeneity using snRNA-Seq, uncovering distinct cell type-specific populations within neuronal and glial communities. Notably, certain populations demonstrated unique associations with AD pathology. #neuroscience#science#Alzheimers#brain#neuro
Excited to announce our preprint revealing intriguing insights into AD pathology via Single-nucand spatial transcriptomic @CARTANAbio

Happy ๐ to share our paper about Distinct microglial transcriptomic signatures within the hippocampus https://t.co/ufppAt5Wgk where we present evidence that hippocampal microglia exhibit transcriptomic heterogeneity with some cells expressing genes associated with neurogenesis. #neuroscience #singleCell @PLOSONE

I have been struggling with my ticket and IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to reach out to your customer care by any means. No matter how much improvement you boast about , I am disappointed to say that your service is still RIDICULOUS.
Thank you #SfN2023 for such a great experience. I thoroughly enjoyed the knowledge I gained through this platform. Very grateful to have presented my work at such a big platform. Looking forward to many more !
#SfN2023 has been amazing so far. This is my first time experiencing SFN and I am in awe of everything it is delivering, be it science, research, networking, inclusiveness, or promoting diversity. A big thumbs up and thank you to the organizing committee.
P.S.- A very happy Diwali to those who are celebrating!
#MenonLabNinjas@archydv and I are excited to present our research at #SfN23 in Washington DC. Please stop by at @archydv โs poster (Nov 14) and my nanosymposium presentation (Nov 15). Letโs share a lot of science through our #neuroscience community. Looking forward!
