Maresca has a big shoe to fill in at Man City because Guardiola literally built a reputation and turned city into an attacking side, that knows how to compete and win trophies 🏆
We are watching to see whether or not he is able to live up to that expectations!
I just hope that this is not the beginning of Man City returning to pre Guardiola’s era.
They are basically making it easy for Arsenal, which in my opinion is very usual.
@PoojaMedia That is not true. Copa America has always taken place at irregular intervals.
Please do your research before coming out here to push any kind of propaganda!!!
@it_Rutie When I first read it, I thought she meant;
Peter Okoye, wife and Anthony Joshua.
But I only saw 2 people in the picture, so I read it again to get the full gist.
Peter Okoye’s wife, and Anthony Joshua.
That sounds better!
@instablog9ja I feel heart broken for the man💔 😢, nobody deserves to be treated with this level cruelty, hate and contempt.
The Nigerian state has to start investing into care/retirement facilities where old people can get the care they need, & are treated with respect and human dignity
@taiwoyedele At this point, my advice would be that every salary worker, self-employed, small business owners…etc should seek the services of an Accountant or Tax consultant.
Because this matter just got serious, any mistake from now will be met with heavy fine or imprisonment.
Update!!
@Psalmjay4748@NigeriaStories True, but filing a Tax return wasn’t compulsory for all Tax-payer before 2025 with exceptions to registered businesses.
I think this new directive comes into effect in line with new Tax Acts.
Whatever be the case, every Nigerian 🇳🇬 now require the services of a Tax accountant.
I hope your achievements in life don't lead you to assume that others are lazy, ignorant or not trying enough. No one likes feeling trapped in their circumstances. Not all success is achieved by hard work and not all failure comes from laziness, always remember this while judging others.
Be humble. ❤️
@mrbayoa1 With everything that is going on, it is safe to assume that our security institutions, personnel, past and current gov’t are just unable to solve the country’s insecurity challenges.
Not bcos they CHOOSE not to, but bcos they LACK the technical Know-how.
We need help!!!
What Oseni does is not new in global journalism. Internationally respected anchors like Christiane Amanpour, Stephen Sackur of BBC’s Hardtalk, and CNN’s Jake Tapper are known for grilling world leaders, cutting through rhetoric, and demanding evidence. But in Nigeria, where political arrogance often thrives on unchallenged narratives, such firmness is often mistaken for hostility.
The real issue is not Oseni’s tone; it is the fragile ego of the Nigerian political elite. Many public officials in this country have not learned to separate personal pride from public responsibility. They come into interviews expecting journalists to worship them, not question them. They treat tough questions as insults instead of opportunities to clarify their positions.
Some even demand that journalists send questions in advance, a practice that undermines spontaneity and shields them from accountability. So, when they meet someone like Oseni, who refuses to play by those rules, they interpret professionalism as provocation.
But journalism, by its nature, is meant to discomfort the comfortable and comfort the afflicted. That is its moral duty. It is not about how warmly a question is phrased, but how truthfully it is pursued. If a public servant cannot handle inquiry, then perhaps they have no business serving the public.
